What a fantastic little gem here in Winsted. The food is fresh and beautifully plated, the wine list is exceptional and the... service staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I was completely blown away to find out that our server had created the Baklava wehad for dessert. It was light, flaky, sweet and perfect! The owner is the chef, and is an amazing host! Noujaim’s is the best Mediterranean food in the region. The food and service is impeccable. I have not had hummus this perfect... in a long time. I don’t get to Winstead much, but when I do go through there, I make it a point to stop and eat there if theyare open. Read more

My family came to celebrate my mom's birthday and we had an amazing time! The chef came out and talked with us throughout the... meal and made us feel like so welcome, like we were all family. Everything was absolutely delicious - they really do have thebest hummus EVER! The Lebanese Feast was HUGE and food just kept coming out, almost too much! Our first time going and they were very patient with us whenever we had questions about the menu and food. The waitress was nice... and efficient and very helpful. The owner even came over and said hello, he even have us a complimentary dish for us to trywhich ended up being the best dish we had the whole night. Ask for the raw kibbieh (not on menu but better then the cooked kind)and babaganush (sp.?)! Their lamb ended up being really good, and that's saying something because I don't like lamb! This is aplace I would highly recommend for having delicious, traditional, Mediterranean food, a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, and greatservice. We will be back! Read more
