Interesting space as with most places in Bailey Park/Coal Pit, but very cold and bleak compared to Black Mountain Chocolate ... just across the breezeway (but they are rarely open) AC needs some sound acoustics, softer furniture, softer music, more plants, color, or something. You got location down, but you don't have the right feel yet, imho. Easy fix with the right eye and theright lean towards good coffee shop atmosphere. Update: While no one reached out, things have improved a great deal. Stillcould use some acoustic help, but at least they are open when they say they will be, have started having live music, and thecoffee drinks are quite good. Customer service is friendly and accommodating. Revised to 4 stars. Read more

Very cool industrial coffee shop with great drink options and beer! It?s located in the Bailey power plant park and has many... food and drink places to check out. This place was packed and we were lucky to find a seat, you know that?s always sign of agood business. The service was fine and the music is chill which is great for focusing on work or just hanging out. Theinterior is very spacious and minimal, they could use more seating especially how packed it gets. Very sad this place is notnear where we live but we enjoyed our time spent here greatly, highly recommend! Read more

Really enjoyed my first trip to Anchor coffee and I will definitely be back! I had the ice chai latte and it was so good and... refreshing. I loved the big open atmosphere and it was surprisingly quiet. I was able to bang out some work with the free Wi-Fiwhile enjoying my beverage. I?m glad there are multiple types of seating, I love me a good option. Can?t wait to try the coffee. Read more

Anchor coffee is in one of the best locations in downtown Winston Salem. There is a gorgeous little park across the street. ... It?s surrounded by restaurants, chocolate shop, a brewery, and a pizza place. So many places to just sit and lounge outside. The inside has a very urban look, with incredibly high ceilings. I love going here. Do it as often as I can. Read more

This coffee shop has such a unique atmosphere! Love the layout and my caramel latte was delicious and the best I?ve had compared... to a few other nearby coffee shops. Music was definitely a tad loud as other reviews mentioned, but if you don?t mind then it?sa great place for study, work, and catching up with friends. Read more

Terrific coffee shop, snacks, and beer in the Power Plant District. The chai latte was terrific and it has an awesome ambience... with the exposed ceiling and old power plant style with new age modem decor. I would highly recommend. Great for large groupstoo. Read more
