This place just can't seem to recover from pandemic. Twice have ordered here and wasn't ready when scheduled, first time waited... 1 hrs past and couldn't be given a time when order would be ready and this time was told service went down and orders weredelayed. Had to wait another 45 mins. after scheduled time to receive food. So disappointed problems can't be fixed here. Idon't believe this is fried rice :(. Read more
I decided to come and get a bowl using my points and it?s the second time this week because the food was great and staff was... even better. I?ve been in hospitality over ten years and even during peak dinner hour they were working hard to make eachcustomer happy. I hadn't been here in over a year, but used to frequent this place. The lack of customers on a Friday night at this formerly... packed restaurant, and huge 'now interviewing' banner out front should have been an indicator. Nevertheless I thought we'd go onin and give it another chance. We were seated quickly as there were only like 2-3 tables occupied. There seemed to be enoughstaff for the amount of customers. The server took a while to come take our drink orders, once we got the drinks and put ourfood order in, it took a long time to get our food (not to mention our appetizer didn't get to us till after we got our bowls).We had to actually remind the server that we ordered an appetizer Of course, we then had to wait an additional 10-15 min to getit. She did apologize for that part. I've never had a bad meal here but this time it was lackluster. I ordered the pad Thai, myhusband had the 'create your own' bowl. Food came out looking and tasting burnt and didn't have a great texture. I'm glad I onlyordered the small. The white sauce is now brought out in to-go cups that were not even half filled. Always good to pick your pasta an or noodles. Hand select what meats, veggies, sauces, N seasoning you want on your plate, then... give to the cook. Not a bad price at all for a fresh option. Read more
The server was awesome! Bright, energetic and engaging. The kitchen went off the rails. It took over an hour to receive our... cooked meals. And there weren't many people in the restaurant. This was a birthday outing and it was marred by the exceptionallyslow cooks. Two of our party of 5 got their food at 45 minutes and the rest of us waited another 15 minutes so we ended upeating in two shifts. If this continues, this place won't remain open. Read more
I?ve loved this place for year. Been here 50+ times I?d say and they?re great. This time was horrible. Stood and waited to be... seated in an empty restaurant for 15 min with no service. When I finally got my bowl to the finish line I witnessed people whomade bowls after me get theirs cooked before mine because they were buddies with the cook. Very disappointed in this. First, the food area was dirty...food spilled all over the place, but we had already paid so what do... you do? 2nd the grill was dirty looking. I will say the guy that did our food at least cleaned it before adding it to thegrill, thus the one star. Then we waited for 45 minutes for our food to sit on the counter while we watched the servers look atthem, looking at us, look at them. We finally had to ask for them to finishing bagging our food. Cause before then it appearedto be rocket science and we needed an expert to do it. That took another 15 minutes. Get the food home and it looks like thepicture below. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Winston Salem. Tonight, we sat down at 5:30 we didn't get our last bowl until... 6:20. All the waiters seemed lost. There is no toilet paper in the women's bathroom. There were only 6 people in therestaurant. Food was still good, but I had to ask for noodles because they were left out of wife's bowl. Never saw a manager,just a lot of chaos! Read more
