If I could give this location zero stars I most certainly would. I ordered an iced coffee with splenda and cream, and this is... what I received. Where's the coffee? I've had this same issue multiple times at this location, while the one on Reynolda alwaysseems to get it right. I only go to the Hanes Mall location because I work nearby, but in the future I'll definitely be askingfor the coffee to be remade. Read more
The manager, Conner, is amazing and should be given a raise, promotion, or reward of some sort!!! My husband and I ordered on... the Mobile App. When I got to the restaurant they had a sign saying smoothies and frappes were unavailable. We ordered one ofeach and my card had already been charged. He gave me a refund on both the smoothie and frappe and made me a large iced coffeefree of charge!! He even made sure I liked it before I drove away! Not open 24 hours. They say they close at midnight but they always close earlier. I have tried to eat here numerous times in the... last year because I am a 3rd shift worker and they have never given me food. They are basically lying whenever you call to askif they are 24 hours because someone who works there will tell you they are, but when you go there around midnight they won'tserve you and are closed. The last time I went I could hear the employees inside over the drive-thru speaker yelling and playingand having fun. I sat at the speaker for 7 minutes without anyone noticing, so I called inside the store. A girl who had beenscreaming and playing around inside answered the phone and I could hear her on the phone and on the speaker. She said "Oh sorrywe close at midnight tonight" but it wasn't midnight yet. Stop telling people this is a 24 hour restaurant. The only 24 hourfood you can get is Waffle House and Sheetz. This restaurant has been lying to all of us about its hours, and if you go at nightwanting food you will only get disappointment. Read more
This McDonald's at Hanes Mall has gone downhill. The staff behind the counter was working hard but the restaurant feels dirty in... the waiting and dining areas. Because the lobby was full when we arrived we used the kiosk to place our order, three happymeals. It was a very long wait and they actually managed to get all three meals wrong. We had taken our order to go and werealready driving away when we saw the errors. The two stars are based more on the general decline I've seen at this location andnot based on the fact that our entire order was wrong on this one occasion. This is not my neighborhood McDonald's, but becauseit's by the mall I'll stop at that location once or twice a year since it was built. Read more
I was given a small frappe caramel which I had to replace with a large. Never had that happen before. Minor inconvenience but it... was odd. And they have the drink fountain behind the counter so you have to stand in line to get a refill. Rather than just easyaccess soda fountain should be. Very strange person with odd deep voice helped me. Other people were nice and gave me a forkright away. The seating area is under construction as is the outside play area. The one near the mall is better. Read more
Be forewarned that this McD can get very busy. That being said the lady who brought our food to the car was very friendly and... apologetic. I told her we completely understood and appreciated her taking care of us. Read more
I stopped here for a caramel sundae for my girls after I found out that Yolo Rollo Ice Cream is inside the mall. When I got... there, they were closed but the drive thru was open but it had a long line. I sat in the line, which moved in an expected pace.Too slow for just a caramel sundae, but I waited. The ladies at the drive thru were nice. When I pulled up to the first windowto pat, for some reasons, she couldn't find my order. After fixing it and took my payment, I went to the next window to pick upmy sundae. Got back to the hotel, and my girls enjoyed the sundae. Read more
Waited 1/2 hour in long line. Would have left but trapped in the line no way out. BUT best fish sandwich I ever ate at a... McDonald's and workers were nice and working hard. Need to pay more and get more workers. Manager nice. Read more
