I hadn't been to Milner's in several years but its always been one of my favorite restaurants. So when I was given a gift card I... was excited and I made dinner reservations for my Birthday. The meal was exquisite! And the staff (Jessica - my waitress, theBartender, and the Hostess) were attentive and courteous. I've never had a Caesar salad as good as theirs, the signatureCucumber Gin Blossom cocktail was light and refreshing, and their ever popular Buttermilk Fried chicken, collard greens, androasted fingerling potatoes were amazing! Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago. I had wanted to try it for years and finally decided to treat myself for my... birthday with some take out. The fried green tomatoes were soggy. The collard greens were gritty. Anyone who cooks collardgreens themselves knows that this means they weren’t cleaned properly- VERY disappointing. I ordered the fried chicken entreeand that came with ONE boneless fried chicken breast…that’s just odd. If you order fried chicken from a southern cuisinethemed restaurant, you expect bone-in fried chicken. Just overall very disappointing and most definitely not worth $46 plus tip. Read more

We ate at Milner's while on a day trip to Winston-Salem. We very much enjoyed our meal. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich.... The crust on the chicken was crisp without being hard. It was very tasty. The french fries were ordinary. The interior of therestaurant is pleasant. We would definitely eat there again. Read more

This place is a must-go if you are interested in great quality Southern cuisine! The bread is definitely worth it, it came with... a few different types (we should have opted for more to take home) but glad we settled for the small helping because the mealwas so filling!! Had the most amazing birthday dinner last night: lemon drop martini, fried green tomatoes, she-crab soup, filet with crab cake,... and bread pudding with ice cream.
