This was possibly the worst example of a Moravian chicken pie I have seen. I purchased frozen and then cooked myself to take to... a friend with a meal. Once cooked, it was mostly gravy with very tiny, shredded pieces of chicken. I apologized to myfriend. I also picked up some chocolate chip cookies for myself. Greasy aftertaste. Read more
We selected Mrs.Pumpkins to cater our daughter?s wedding at the Barn at Reynolda Village. Cody was incredibly professional,... flexible, and very responsive. They worked with us on a taste testing and helped us to create a reception dinner menu thateveryone thoroughly enjoyed! They created the cake too which was quite convenient. Had been buying Moravion Love Feast Buns from another bakery in town for years, but for the last few years they tasted like they... had been frozen after baking and thawed out the day they were placed out on display for sale. A friend recommended Mrs Pumpkinsbakery to us. Went to the store and bought a dozen of their buns, it was unreal how much the difference was in the taste andfreshness over the other bakery. Wish I had bought a couple more dozen of them but if I had I would not have an excuse to goback for more and try some of their family size frozen entrees. If you want fresh baked Love Feast Buns this is the only placeI have found to get them. Read more
We love Mrs. Pumpkin's chicken pies! This quaint store is easy to miss along busy Reynolda Rd. See the pics but it basically... sits in a tiny strip mall directly beside and slightly behind the Sherwin Williams store. They have great desserts too but Ididn't purchase any today. Read more
I have been going to Mrs. Pumpkin's for lunch for the past year since I started working right up the road from them. Time and... time again my coworkers and I have brought to their attention that their sandwiches and wraps are always lacking meat- we havebeen told that we just need to order extra meat on our orders and pay an extra charge. This time, I ordered the Italian wrap theway it comes. I paid $9.50 for my lunch. The wrap was really skimpy, as you can see from the picture below. It hardly hadanything on it. I e-mailed them about it on 10/24/2018 to bring it to their attention. I never received an e-mail back. Today,11/5/2018 I called to speak to someone about it. I was essentially blown off. I was told that she was not able to load thepicture at the time but that they have a standard of how much meat they should put on a sandwich... (something along the linesof two slices of each meat for an Italian.) I told her that was obviously not what happened that day for me and she continued toblow me off that I was wrong. She finally mustered up the "I apologize" AFTER she told me I just needed to order the extra meatand pay for the up-charge. I wasn't looking for free lunch, I wasn't looking for a reimbursement, but what I WAS looking for ismaybe an apology that it happened and that they would try to look into my complaint and see if they can resolve it in anyway. Imean, come on, they didn't even respond to my email! You can look for yourself and see how skimpy this wrap was. Prettydisappointed that their customer service is sub par. I (and my coworkers) have ordered a lot from them and am not sure I will bereturning. Read more
