Last time I was there a girl in pajama bottoms and Crocs was answering the phone and making jokes with coworkers while on her... cell phone the entire time and customers were waiting. Some of the staff was new, I don't fault them. The manager or shiftleader that night, was rude and leaning into her incompetence as she clearly doesn't know how to speak to customers effectively,appropriately or professionally. I've been to this restaurant since they opened and had some ups & downs but this the mostappalling of my visits. 50% of the people there were great, the other half, shouldn't be working as they obviously don't want todo the job right. Trim the fat or keep the doors closed. This shouldn't be the experience you come to expect from a chain. Read more

I worked here for 4 months and I saw roaches daily. Roaches crawl on, in, and around the pastries. Me and my manager watched a... roach crawl on some cookies and then crawl into the cinnamon rolls. I asked her if I could throw all the affected pastries awayand she said I couldn't because the display has to look full but that she wouldn't sell it - except not even 5 minutes later Iwatched her sell them to a family with a smile on her face. There are baby roaches in the sink as well. I don't know how badthe kitchen is because I didn't work in it, though I did find a roach in my bread once. Ordering online and picking up in the store is very convenient and reduces wait times. Only issue I find is when ordering a... drink, I often have to find an employee to give me the drink cup. Not a huge deal, but employees are already working hard. Whynot put a stack of cups near the to-go pick ups? Read more
So I ordered breakfast through the Panera app for delivery. When the driver got here (they deliver through Door Dash), he did... not have the 2 smoothies that went with my order. When questioned, the driver stated they did not "hand" him any drinks, onlythe bag. I know this is not right, because I usually pick up my own orders in the morning, and they have the "to go" orderssetting by the door and you just grab and go. So I called the Panera store. Hannah (sorry if I am spelling it wrong!) answeredthe phone, super friendly and very understanding. After I explained what happened, she said she was actually the cateringcoordinator and was heading over to main campus (which is a couple miles from where I am located) and she would bring me mysmoothies. She was supper kind from the very start of the phone call, all the way through when she delivered my drinks. Veryhelpful, and pleasant! She did not have to bring me my order, she could have very well made any other decision (cancel myorder, make me wait for another door dasher, etc.) but she did not, she went ABOVE and BEYOND her job duties, and her customerservice skills are impeccable. I had the steak and arugula sandwich for lunch today. It was wonderful! What a great healthy sandwich. I would love to know what... they do to their onions. They were sweet like they had been marinated in dressing or something. Yummy! Very fresh too! It was myfirst time eating at this location. I haven't eaten at Panera in a couple of years. Read more
