I'm a real vampire. I wear a trench coat with my black spiked goggles and all black. I love this place. I been coming here since... I was 21. One of the best places to relax for a drink. This could be a cool place, however half of the games were broken, others the coin slots stole money, or buttons did not work. ... Maybe 25% of the games are playable. Did not try the bar, and the music was loud but fine. I do find it hilarious that newheavy metal, the singers all sound like sissies. Read more

Great fun when it started out. Games were fresh and bright! Fast forward and I visited for the first time in a couple... years. The place: Now it seems dull and dingy. The bright is gone replaced by chain smoking hipsters out front holding the dooropen so you can't escape the stench anywhere inside! The floor is sticky and bits of whatever have been swept under the games.There is a bar smell (stale spilled beer) that a really strong in places. I know it's a bar, but the focus is the games,right? The Restrooms: My GF who is pretty tough, refused to use them and held out till we got back to CC BBQ. The Games: 6 outof 10 we wanted to play wouldn't even take a quarter. 2 other swallowed them happily but wouldn't register. We stuck to thepinball at 4x the cost, but at least they worked. Many of the old school games were in pretty rough shape. The sticks/knobswere loose and the buttons stuck or barely registered. Makes for a laugh at times when you are playing 2P, but it's not why Ivisited. Like many others the bartender marginalized us (we weren't drinking like her friends were.. yes, there was an obviousfriendliness between them because she wouldn't ask them to move so we could play!) and blamed service that obviously didn'thappen as several other reviews state. The Crowd: Several people seemed very annoyed that I was making them move so that Icould play a favorite game that had been poorly placed so that we both were in each others way. Their loud, drunken attitude andthe stink in the corner made us feel that this wasn't the place to stay long. Overall: I miss my video games and the fun theyprovide. I was looking forward to an evening playing them again. I was disappointed and will have to look for a really goodreason to loose quarters and clean the sticky off my shoes. Sadly, I will stop recommending this place to friends and visitorsto WS that love retro video games as much as I do. Read more
Fun place to go when you are downtown Winston-Salem with friends. From old school arcade games to skee ball, in a retro black... light environment with a bar you'll feel like you stepped back into the 80s for a bit! Lots of great pinball machines too! Read more
The vibe in here is AWESOME, friendly bartenders, and great drinks! The only problem we ran into was many of the games didn?t ... work and just swallowed our quarters. We lost a few bucks just trying to get some of the games to work. I think it was just arough maintenance night. Otherwise, it?s a fun place! Read more
We had a good weekend but when we came across this gem we started having a great time ????!! Finally I proved I really can play... the heck out of mortal kombat ???? Oh, their signature drinks were delicious ???? also and don't let me forget to music wasjammin too???????? He is a 1993 baby and I'm an 80's baby and we both enjoyed our visit. Read more
Update: Ian and the whole crew here have been so kind. They let me display my art and it has been such a wonderful experience.... Come have a Smurf or Tequila Sunrise, play your favorite games, and enjoy some art. It's a fun place to go have drinks withfriends and play some old school video and pinball games.
