Fried flounder taco was perfect as far crispiness. The other chorizo taco was just average. My wife had the shredded chicken... tacos and they weren't great, just ok and the chicken was pretty bland. Price was higher than expected. Margarita was good butnot strong. Guacamole was too chunky with uncut avocado. Would come back for lunch. Had them cater for our small wedding party and I would HIGHLY recommend!!! We paid extra for delivery and it was worth it.... Someone came and set everything up for us and we had more than enough food! Leftovers are just as good as the first time. I loveeating at this restaurant but having it at home buffet style is even better! Can?t wait to order catering from here again,thanks taco mama!! Read more
We have enjoyed coming to Taco Mama?s regularly since it?s opening. A few weeks ago I went by to pick up a take out order when I... realized I had left my wallet at home. The manager told me to just take it and not to worry about it. Never said anything aboutcoming back in and setting up or paying the next time I?m in. He simply handed it to me with no strings attached. I?ve alwaysbelieved you get what you give. Two hours later I went by and saw the manager and paid him $ 50. Twice the amount of the bill. Kinda stinks inside, the first thing I noticed. The "servers" kinda I didnt understand. You order at the counter then they just... mill about asking are you done. The food was okay, I just wish everything had a little more acid and heat. Read more
They were very quick to serve us and the restaurant was super clean. It wasn't to busy, but they were getting pretty busy when... we were on our way out. Their queso is amazing and my burrito was pretty good too. We had a great time. Read more
I liked the food. The restaurant is decorated lively and fun but their are a few things I don't care for. Music is very loud ... it's hard to hear each other if you come in for conversation. Your handed a menu while standing in line to order. I prefer tohave a waiter or waitress but that's a personal preference. If you want to eat something else u have to get in line again toorder. Stopped in to try out some tacos. The service was great. I told the doorman I had never been there before and he gave me his top... recommendations which I always think is nice. Good spot for a quick bite to eat. All items come with a side, I had the hippie fisherman burrito. Their portions aren?t large... but food tastes good. Conveniently located, pretty close to Hanes mall blvd with all large stores nearby, swing by here if youaren?t in a rush and grab a donut from duck donuts for dessert! Read more
