They?re take out only and we waited 20 min for our food. Two meals were $56. Most places include plantain but we had to pay for... it as a side. The oxtails were good but greasy. My goat curry although good had more bones than meat. It needed heat as well. Read more
Got the sweet and sour chicken and friend got the curry shrimp, we only waited about 20 minutes for our food, which is great... because we were on our lunch break. My first time eating here I order oxtail and the rice and pea. I enjoyed the meal and I want some more rice and pea.
The food is good don?t get me wrong but the wait time is ridiculous. You absolutely have to call your order in on most days and... even then it takes a while to get your order. Overall, a good place just have to be patient though. Read more
The food at Yeh Mon is insanely delicious. Might be my favorite food that I've tried since moving to Winston-Salem in 2019. The... meats are so juicy and tender, the sauces so complex and tasty. Fantastic comfort food and the portions leave plenty for secondsor tomorrow's meal. I cannot recommend this delightful hole-in-the-wall enough. A mom & pop shop, I always order take out. It'snot quick because this food has got soul, but worth any wait a thousand times over. Do yourself a flavor and order as much YehMon Caribbean as you can stomach. We called in. When we got there, we had to wait an additional 30 min. Food was so so. The macaroni had NO cheese whatsoever.
They slow and have nasty attitudes. The food is good but I can cook faster than they serve! It was good!
Oxtails was good but 4 for $20?? The second star is only given for the flavor .. portions are small like for a kid .. All I?m... gonna say is you?ll be better off driving to Greensboro for their Jamaican food. You get more for your money and they?refriendly, and the food is delicious.. Read more
