Food was very good, I ordered my steak med. rare and that's what I got. That is not normally the case.
Prime rib was New York strip mind you it was good, but not rib eye. Staff very friendly. Drinks nice.
Food was good, salad bar was basic but good, wait time perfect, staff was great. Only had real issues with how cold it was in... the dinning area we sat in. Everyone had to wear jackets throughout our meal. Pretty sure everyone in that room was. Stillrecommend and will return ???? Read more
Second trip to Flambeau Forest Inn. The food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. Yes it was busy,... yes I had to wait for my order; if I wanted food immediately I would have stayed home and had a bowl of cereal. The staff waskind, the regulars were welcoming, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great experience and I hope we can make it back again soon. Read more
Went there on a sise-by-side ride, about 100 miles one way,, with a crew of others. We drove up there for lunch. The bartender... was a real crabass! She looked hungover! She told us it would be over an hour and a half before we could eat. Needless to saythey lost alot of money in food & drinks that day from our crew! Drove down the road to big bear, the food was great!! Guessthey did us a favor. Read more
Stopped in for a late dinner on a Saturday night after a day on Connors Lake. Like many restaurants, they are struggling to get... enough workers. It took some time before the food was served, but was worth the wait. Ordered the Smokehouse Burger and was veryhappy. 4 others in the party all enjoyed what they ordered as well. We had a delicious steak and shrimp dinner last night and even though there was a steady crowd our waiteess Lynda was so... personable and never left us thirsty or wondering when we would eat. She was happy and friendly at all times. Even when thetable behind us berated her over how long they'd been waiting and how hungry they were. Yet we witnessed them making severaltrips to the salad bar and coming back with heaping plates. They were rude enough to only leave an 80 cent tip. ? Unbelievableafter she came back time and time to get them whatever they needed. People like that don't belong coming to this beautifularea. Just had the Wed chicken special. It was absolutely delicious. Our drinks were great. We ended with creme DeMint cheesecake... that was awesome. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Read more
