The food here was soooo good. We are visiting from NJ and just stumbled upon this place. SO glad we did. We had the toughest day... traveling and coming here made everything better. Pico?s Bistro is a little diamond in winter garden. I?ve been wanting to try pico?s for awhile but never got around to do it and... finally did and it was well worth it. The vibe in the restaurant is really intimate and great for a nice date. In the picturebelow, Nicole made a really tasty mixed drink ( i forgot what it was called) with fresh strawberries and basil. We had differentempanadas, the steak and gnocchi and both were delicious. I?m a foodie and tried a banana salad for the first time and it was sodelicious. I gave this restaurant a 4 star because I felt the menu wasn?t super strong for those not in the mood for seafood. Iwas very limited to steak (which was also great) just wish I had at least one chicken or pork option. Great quality brazilian empanadas (o tradicional pastel, em português). Product fresh and tasteful. You can order pork and... pinneaple, beef and cheese, chicken, tomatoes and oregano and a lot of different flavors. We also ordered draft beers, deliciousas well. The desert was coconut and dulce de leche empanada. Simply amazing! The local is clean and cozy. On Wednesdays youorder one empanada and get another one free. Amazing place with lovely atmosphere and people!! It deserves to be packed with customers from the moment it opens until it... closes! The empanadas are golden and perfectly crispy. It is rare when you get to find someplace special! Pico Bistro is delicious and has found a way to have a very focused small... menu but a lot of great choices. We went to try their Empanadas and they did not disappoint. Not only were the Empanadasdelicious but they also have this Sweet Spicy sauce they make in-house to put on them. IT IS SO GOOD. If you enjoy spicy it'sworth a visit just to try that. We look forward to going back and trying more of the 24+ different Empanada and some of theother items on the menu. Perhaps I glossed over it, but Pico Bistro seemed to appear over night in Winter Garden. The restaurant?s logo and trendy... interior stood out in a relatively unremarkable shopping center. My fiancé and I stopped in on a Saturday evening around 7pm. Iknew from the outside the restaurant would be small so I was worried about a wait, but luckily for us no wait (they should havea wait, because it?s that good) and we were sat right away. Our waitress was the sweetest woman who seemed genuinely excited tobe serving food and preparing drinks at the restaurant. A good sign. We ordered the burrata to start and the pico steak as ourentrees. Let me just say the burrata was so good that the next day we attempted to recreate the dish ourselves and failedmiserably. The steak was so tender, served with a side of crispy potatoes and a sweet banana pico dish. Both incredible. To topit off, literally, they serve a house made guava and jalapeño sauce that pairs well with practically anything. Try it andyou?ll want to purchase a jar to take home.
