Lucille?s is a great addition to downtown Winter Haven. We visited during their Weekend brunch hours (Saturday & Sunday 10-2)... and were excited with all the options. Of course my first decision was should I eat breakfast or lunch food because there wereso many great choices. They have ample seating indoors and outside and were busy but didn?t have a wait! Our server was friendlyand informative and made some great suggestions. I had the country scramble skillet and it was good. It could be even betterwith a little more cheese. It wasn?t throughout the dish, only melted on the top so the potatoes underneath were very dry somaybe layering the cheese would help? My other dining companions had the chicken and waffles, Cafe Cobb Salad, and the WesternOmelette with a side of loaded grits. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and the standout was the bourbon sauce that was servedwith the chicken and waffles. That sauce is so good?can we get it bottled?! Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Everything was absolutely wonderful from the food to the service. We loved their spinach... and cheese dip. Their club sandwich is now a favorite of mine. Drinks are awesome. Our server Lissette was amazing. Can?t waitto come back here and try the brunch and of course all of the desserts!! Came here on a date night with my husband and this establishment did not disappoint! Lashay was amazing. She was attentive,... knowledgeable, and patient. (I asked a lot of questions) The food was delicious. I had the California chicken sandwich and myhusband had the steak. We both got dessert and we really enjoyed the Oreo Cookie Sundae and the bread pudding! The coffee istasty and strong as well. We will be coming back. Read more
I love everything about this restaurant. We got there on a Friday night and had no wait but they were plenty busy. Lots of... seating available inside and outside on a covered patio. It?s decorated beautifully. We ordered a club sandwich, a mahi sandwichand a kids chicken tender meal. (If you?re like me you?ll be happy to know their ranch is awesome!) Everything tasted great andservice was fantastic. They have a full bar which we didn?t utilize that night. They also have a great dessert menu. Talked tothe owner on the way out and he?s a super nice guy and said if something ever isn?t right to please bring it to their attentionand they?ll make it right. First off, service was AMAZING. Everyone was so sweet and attentive. Very polite. We got the spinach and cheese dip. It was... good, but could have been a little more flavorful. My husband got a cheeseburger and said it was great. I got a Cesar salad androasted cauliflower. The Cesar salad was a tad bland. I prefer a more robust taste. The cauliflower was good. My 4 year old gotthe Mac n cheese and she loved it. It?s not Kraft, it?s a homemade cheese sauce. Very thick and creamy. My drink was my favoritepart. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio area-our waitress was so kind and helpful. she was very... knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions! can't wait to come again! First time visit. Food was phenomenal! Probably the best Wedge I've ever had and my husband said the same about the Macaroni... Cheese!! Service started out great but the busier our waitress got, it showed in lack of response unfortunately. One guest inour party didn't get his 2nd beer he ordered, refills on soda for myself, and follow up on how the food was. Had to ask for ourreceipts more than once.
