We went for brunch and everything was delicious. The ingredients tasted very fresh and their portions are big so you really pay... for what you get. They seems to be very popular because there was some wait and we got there really early. Also, make sureeveryone from you party is there with you because is first come first served and your party must be complete by the time theysit you. If someone hasn?t arrived, they?ll make you wait until they arrive and they don?t have a virtual line, so you?ll bewaiting in the middle of the restaurant until you are seated. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious! Kianna our server was every sweet and knowledgeable, she suggested the specials... to which I had the ?Raise and Shine? - a crafted espresso martini and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The scrambledeggs were cooked to perfection: light, fluffy and soft as I requested. The cheese grits were flavorful and cheesy. The main starof this course was the PANCAKES! The pancakes were perfectly cooked with crisp edges, fluffy center and warm throughout! I?venever had pancakes that were so delightful in my life. The bourbon blackberry lemonade was very good, very happy with the choice and size of the drink. Raspberry pancakes were very... tasty, and the eggs were good as well. They were out of their normal grits, their back up (cheese grits) were nothing exciting,but it was a nice brunch. The actual atmosphere is a little claustrophobic and loud. I would definitely come back for drinks,but the food is too expensive. Read more
John Luke was our server on 05/20/2022 & he was amazing! First of all, the vibe was such a vibe here. The music beats were fire!... They must have been playing Miami Poolside on pandora.. John Luke knew the menu up & down - he was very detailed in explainingeverything to help us decide what to get. He even recommended things to do nearby after we were done eating (we were here onvacation & didn?t know the area). Our conversation was as if we were friends for years. We lucked out with the time we arrivedbecause we got seated right away & we were the only people outside. Whole patio to ourselves :) When we first arrived to WinterPark, we were just strolling down the sidewalk & didn?t know where to stop to eat. I told my brother ?when I get the vibe, I?lltell you.? I instantly got a vibe when I saw Briarpatch & knew we had to eat here. So glad we chose this place. If we everreturn to Winter Park, FL we will be eating here for sure! Read more
The food was delicious, they have some great cooks/chefs in the kitchen. However their prices on their menu will keep me from... ever being a return customer. I also don't recommend going here on the weekend or you will be looking for a line out thedoor. Overall a lovely place, great food, but too expensive for the product they create. Have been wanting to come back to this place for a while since I have been once before a couple years back. Since busy as it... used to be and always a line on weekend. Even though there is a line, we didn?t have to wait that long for a party of 2 and gotseated within 15 min. The server was very attentive and friendly. Amazing- from the setting outside on winter parks Main Street to the quality of food served. The brunch menu is fantastic,... covers just about everything and it?s a very tough choice. We had the raspberry and Brie French toast and breakfast carnitas.The choice of juices and quality of coffee are top drawer, and the service is great, plenty of water refills. Expect to stand in a line if you?re going during peak brunch hours. They also won?t seat you unless all of the party has... arrived. The food is pretty good and once you?re at the table, service is fairly quick considering how busy they are but it?snot quite worth the wait outside and how loud it is inside the restaurant. The time we were seated outside, the table was stickyand there were wasps swarming up by the ceiling. Read more
