My wife and I decided to have a date night here. We were super impressed. The ambiance, service, food and drinks were all... exceptional. My first drink was their old fashioned that they had on their drink menu and my wife ordered a glass of Chardonnay.They were both excellent. We started with the lobster mushrooms for an appetizer and they were spot on. From the presentation tothe flavor of the mushrooms themselves was great. We would order them again in a heartbeat. For the second round of drinks Iordered their Double IPA which was awesome. It was citrusy and hazy. My wife ordered another Chardonnay. She ordered the chickenentree on their menu and I went with the rock shrimp tacos. I am a huge rock shrimp fan and they did not disappoint!! Both ofus would get these entrees again. I cannot forget the sides though! We had a really hard time narrowing it to just two. Ourserver was great and helped us. She described the 5 we were interested in very well and we decided on the grits and Brusselssprouts. Amazing. We would get these both again. I finished with their House knob creek bourbon. They have a great bourbon listand they brew their own beer. From the minute we were greeted at the door to the minute we left the building was great. We willnot hesitate to visit this restaurant again and could not recommend it highly enough!! Read more
9/16/2022 We had a lovely meal with friends. It isn't cheap. Even with magical dining it was $200 for two people but you get... what you pay for I suppose. Sometimes the simple things are the best, everyone was wild about the bread. My favorite item wasthe crab bisque. The steak frites was fine but for the price there are better steaks. I’ve been here twice particularly because of the food. Both times the food has been incredible! The truffle loaf takes the... cake and the chicken is to die for. The cocktails are alright (the beer is good). The service is meh and pretty transactional,but the food makes up for it and for that reason we will probably be back. Read more
Escargot was different, fluke was good, and the pork belly appetizer with watermelon was different. Asparagus was asparagus,... nothing really special. I’d say the appetizers are definitely more fun than main course meals. To be fair I didn’t try theirbig meat dishes, but it looked impressive. Read more
The service was fine, let's get that out of the way. The fact that this place has 4.5 stars with 2200 reviews really carries... home the fact that Orlando doesn't know good food. I was there for brunch and ordered the pork ribs, the cordon bleu sandwichand the ham brunch sandwich. The ribs were solid. Tasty and cooked perfectly. It was downhill from there. The fries arecompletely soaked with grease. The cordon bleu sandwich should not have been a sandwich, were it not necessary to hide the factthat the chicken had zero flavor. The ham sandwich was okay but definitely did not live up to the hype. I've had better food atchain restaurants. For the price and the exalted reputation among the locals, I expected better. Read more
The appetizer was one of my favorites out of the three items we ordered. The chips were very well cooked and had great taste and... was paired very well with the TarTar. I did really enjoy the tacos which I felt was very wonderfully cooked and had greatflavor from the sauce. The pasta I did find okay to eat but wasn’t anything spectacular. I did think the cherry wasinteresting and was a reason for me to order but found it to just be very sour after that bite down. My friends and I were celebrating my boyfriend’s 21st birthday and we had a phenomenal time. The cocktails here are amazing as... well as the food. They brought out a free dessert as well for the occasion which was very good. I absolutely love that thisrestaurant sources all of its product locally as well as brews their own beer. The menu changes seasonally. Sustainability issome thing I think is very important in a business. Alex was an amazing server. Extremely attentive and very helpful in helpingus understand certain menu items and trying new things! Will definitely be recommending this restaurant and will be coming againnext season! Read more
