I can't wait to go back. I loved it and all my dinner companions enjoyed it as well. The food was excellent. Something as simple... as the edamame was so fresh and cooked perfectly. I don't think I have ever had edamame that was so delicious. I would go backjust for that. I also had a side salad with awesome ginger dressing and a lobster roll that was fabulous. World-class sushi along with professional and courteous service. Chic atmosphere with good music at just the right sound level.... Susie the owner stopped by table for a sincere chat and the entire wait staff seemed to be aware of everything going on. Bravo! Read more
It was an absolute pleasure dining at Umi. The waitress was very kind, the food was delicious, and they kindly accommodated us... with dumplings when the sushi took a little extra time to come out (which I didn’t even think was long considering it was abusy Valentine’s Day). The Volcano roll, Drunken Lobster, Tuna by Tuna, and Godzilla specialty rolls (left to right) were someof the best if not the best sushi I’ve had. Highly recommend this restaurant! Read more
I went with a group of five friends for sushi. The sushi was fresh and delicious. If I could change one thing, it would be the... spacing. Our table was pretty close to other guests tables. I felt like we were "on top" of each other but the sushi was delish! Read more
Went out for Magical Dining Month since I'd heard good things on Facebook and it lived up to my expectations. We were seated... right away and were promptly greeted by our server. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted great. My only complaint is ourserver never gave us her name which is unusual but other than that it was a great night. Read more
Love Umi! I will go all the way across town just to eat here, passing many sushi restaurants on the way. George is an awesome... server. For vegans, the Lemon Kiss roll isn't just the best vegan sushi I've ever had, it's the best sushi I've ever had.Period. They always accommodate and make the bibimbap vegan and it's so delicious. We came here for an early dinner. Very fast seating, service very friendly. The pork belly was delicious, and seafood sushi roll... awesome. The short ribs were amazing, too. We also had the calamari for app it was very good too. We would for sure come back.Nice find! Read more
