We had an amazing experience here! I have to say, without exaggeration, that my dish, the carbonara, ranked up with best pasta... dish I have ever had. Everyone loved their food. Service was outstanding. Everyone super friendly. The owner Giuseppe made therounds to each table to ensure all was well, and he clearly cares about every guest's experience. Pastaio is an incredible experience. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The food is unbelievable, but that's not the only... reason to go here. The owners, one of which is the chef, are phenomenal. They're always on the floor, always walking around andgreeting guests, making sure their guests are well taken care of. The standard menu is amazing, but the chef specials are wherethis place really shines. Pastaio is a shining gem in the Ohio Valley. Read more

What an absolute delight! A co-worker recommended Pastaio to us for dinner and we were NOT disappointed! The food was so fresh... and flavorful. We couldn't decide what we liked the most. The portions are just right and bursting with those great Italianflavors. Lots of great dishes to choose from the menu. The waitstaff were top notch and we had several staff check on us to makesure we were enjoying ourselves. We come to town often for work and this is now on the top of our list of places to eat while weare here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great, authentic Italian dining experience. Excellent in atmosphere, service, wine, and food! They have a from scratch kitchen where everything prepared is from scratch... and fresh that makes a huge difference in every beautifully prepared and presented dish!!! We had the wine, the meat and cheeseboard, basil tomato soup, fresh baked bread, and cannoli for dessert. It was our 2nd time coming to Pastaio. The waitress wasvery impressive this evening was extremely friendly and professional. She knew about every item on the menu and the wine. It was our first time dining there. Nicely decorated, and we had a very friendly waitress. Husband got dirty silverware (dried... food stuck to fork and knife--it happens), but the waitress was professional and got him a new set straight away. They servedwater in glass bottles and pop with decanters (see pic). It was a unique touch. My husband and I both ordered the lasagna($16/plate). It was delicious. Mine was slightly cold in middle, but was fine. The soup with eggplant was tasty as well. We hada nice experience, but it is a bit pricey for what you get. Mom and I shared a mixed fried seafood. Really good! I had the mushroom ravioli and mom had the spaghetti with meatballs. Both... very tasty. Service was great! Had a brachetto to start and dolcetto d'Alba with the food. Delicious pairing with the ravioli.Crème brûlée was yummy too. Will definitely be back for more. Read more
