I really wanted to like this place, so much... but Basically all I can say about it, was the food was edible. The portion size... compared to the amount of money you pay is just unfair. This was my first visit here, and unfortunately will be my last. On apositive note, the cashier was very friendly and polite and the restaurant looked clean and was well decorated and themed.Negatives, that little breast with what "should be a wing" but was too small to have enough meat to enjoy but was Basicallybones and skin and the two sides that weren't even filled to the appropriate amount in the containers was over $10. Atleast fillup the sides if you're giving your customers that small of a portion of Protein. The BBQ Sandwich, it was dry, flavorless, smalland overcooked. I found it very bland and dry, even with the slaw added on the side, for over $6.00 for a sandwich I expectedthe meat to Atleast cover the bun, and have some type of flavor. Here in NC, we take our BBQ seriously. I will say, the bakedbeans were tasty, but not almost $5.00 worth for a small side, but they had good flavor. I rarely leave any negative reviews,but I was just so incredibly disappointed with this meal, and the amount of money I paid for what I received. I hate to be acreature of habit, but I think I'll have to stick with Bs BBQ or Parkers BBQ, Atleast you do get what you pay for with size,portions and flavor. I'm just so disappointed, I had such high hopes for this particular establishment. The ribs are great! The BBQ sandwich is great! The crab cakes could have been better. The Mac & cheese was just ok, nothing to... brag about. The baked beans were mediocre. The collards need to be taken off the menu all together. They were just plain nasty.It was clean. Customer service was great! I would definitely visit again. Read more

So this was my first time ever eating at Moore?s. I ordered delivery. The food was so delicious, fresh, and seasoned. I had the... collard greens dark chicken barbecue plate. Great place to eat. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. They offer two sauces, one eastern NC and the other is... tomato based. The BBQ has a hint of Smokey flavor and is not sauced too heavy. Sides are good too. We really enjoyed eating atthis clean modern restaurant. Read more

Fast food barbecue spot. This isn't the elegant type place and doesn't bill itself as. The McD's of the NC barbecue world. And... it's SPOT ON. Was looking forward to trying this place after having eaten (and managed) one of their competitors for years in apast life. Not disappointed. Potato salad and slaw both sweet but not ridiculously so. Pork was Eastern NC barbecue the way itwas intended - red pepper, salt and vinegar - a little bite but not over the top, some small bits of crunch in there (thinkburnt ends type crunchy meat) - not mushy marshmallow consistency like some places. The fried chicken was TOP NOTCH. Hottasty. The service was also excellent. People roaming the floor to make sure no one EVER went dry. Great great place. Will trytheir others.
