This place was great. It's up on a hill top with a great view of the ocean. We went to a banquet here and this place delivered.... The food was so good. They make an amazing crusted haddock. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and prompt. Thebar made really good drinks. I definitely am coming back next year. A must stop place if you are in the area! Read more

The staff was definitely professional and attended to us in the timely manner. We begin with the appetizers that were out of... this world, moved on to the entrees which were very delicious very fresh. Debating on whether or not to get dessert individuallybecause of course we were also full we decide to indulge in one dessert and split it, it was simply scrumptious. In addition tothe professional staff and the delicious food the atmosphere was perfect I recommend the Winthrop arms to anybody who wants avery relaxing dinner near the beautiful ocean, conveniently located in Winthrop Massachusetts which is about 5 minutes fromBoston. Enjoy!!! Read more

Expensive for where it is. More ice in my drink than anything else then had the cheek to ask if I wanted more. Less than half... glass of soda. No free refill so no thanks. Order soda without ice next time. Disappointed ?? for the price I paid was hopingfor a bit better. Read more

Amazing customer service. My two year old and I had an early cross country flight from Logan and we had to leave the hotel at... about 5AM. My little guy was mid-meltdown so I hustled out of the room...and forgot his one-of-a-kind blanket that he alwayssleeps with. I realized as we were sitting on the tarmac waiting to take off...I was distraught....I messaged the hotel and theyresponded quickly and they worked with me to get the blanket shipped to me! Now my toddler is reunited and all is well again. These guys went above and beyond! As for the location itself, it's a wonderful old hotel and restaurant/bar with lots of charm.Near the water and the airport (without being insanely expensive like other hotels with airport proximity). Had a wonderful stay at the Winthrop Arms. The hotel rooms are cozy and comfortable, all the staff are friendly and quickly... treat you like you are welcome from the get go. And the food is absolutely spectacular! I LOVED the scallops, the quahogscasino, even the veggie sides were lovingly made. Absolutely recommend the restaurant and the hotel. I'll be back! Read more

I’ve been to the restaurant many times these last few weeks. Ed is absolutely fantastic from the time you arrive until you ask... for your bill. Ed does a fantastic job making the drinks and he goes out of his way keep us customers happy and it’s alwayssuch a wonderful pleasure seeing Ed each and every time I visit this wonderful restaurant. The chicken fingers and onion ringswere delicious and so tender. My hats off to the wonderful chef’s. Read more

Our stay was fantastic, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Water pressure was amazing. Just be sure to check in before... the restaurant opens for a less confusing awkward time. I stayed here with my daughter and was very delighted with the room, westayed for the weekend! We had a corner ocean view room, we got the beautiful sunrise each morning. The room was super clean! They do have vending machines available, the room had a small refrigerator and a small coffee maker. It would have been nice toknow about the parking and check in process so I knew what to expect. I couldn't find parking anywhere and tried calling for awhile to ask about it as I was driving around, finally found a place to park way down the road, walked in to a very loud, fullrestaurant (note: Check-in is at 3PM and I got there at 5PM). The hostess was very nice and helpful, she explained that theparking is valet and there is parking behind the white house across the street. I suggest checking in at 3 to avoid therestaurant hustle and bustle. There is no private entrance for hotel guest's, you are to walk through the dining room whencoming and going. We did eat in the restaurant, the food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly. Extremely loud though. Read more
