I?ve gotten takeout twice from Delhi Bistro and it has been phenomenal both times! I?m sad there?s not more Indian restaurants... in Lake County but I am glad I live close to this one! I love their Chicken Tikka Masala and my partner usually gets the BainganBhartha. Both the naan and garlic naan breads are delicious too. The Mango Lassi is my favorite!! Got the chicken tikka masala. It had too much chicken and hardly any sauce, sauce was very liquidy. I requested to make it spicy... and it was mild, it did have a flavor and wasn?t bland but it just wasn?t the flavor i was hoping for. Wish they had plainbasmati rice instead of only rice pilaf. Food looked almost nothing like the review pictures i saw online. The naan was prettygood, i would eat that again. If you are looking for authentic Indian food made with lots of love, and a great ambience, this is THE PLACE for you!! It is a... family owned business and everyone is very nice and friendly. Even though we moved to Madison a while back, we love coming herebecause of their love and hospitality. We have tried most of their dishes and they are all so good!! Being a lover of Indian cuisine I become extremely excited to try new locations. This location made me nervous at first. Upon... arrival the exterior looked a bit unkempt and I noticed a few for rent posters in the windows. I instantly became weary but I'mopen minded and we ordered our food. The elderly gentleman server was very friendly and we had our food within 15 mins includingthe appetizers. We ordered garlic naan, cocktail samosas, vegetable malaise kofta, sag, gulab jamin, and sweet lassi. Theappearance was amazing, the food was at an excellent temperature and the taste was fabulous. The food arrived in a expected timeframe and tasted amazing. The portions were just right the the cost was a great match. I will surely be revisiting this locationvery soon. I'm not a super adventurous foodie (I find my favorites & stick to them) but my friend suggested Delhi Bistro based upon a great... experience she had here previously. Let me tell you, I will 100% be eating from here again! Such a unique experience. The womenthat were there were very kind & the food was full of such rich flavor.
