We were just wandering around and noticed one of their house drinks. Stopped in to give it a try! It was delicious! This... location was rather small, but discovered a full location not far from the bar we stopped at. It was loud and conjested, but youcould expect nothing less from a bar on a Saturday night! It?s always a pleasure eating at Monks. The burgers are great. The beer is always cold. The service is always on point. The... monkey fries are delicious! This is my go-to spot to have a quick beer, or two, or six and a bite to eat while on the strip.Nothing else compares. If you are in downtown Wisconsin Dells, stop here. It?s a little on the small side and is not situatedfor larger groups but they may be able to work something out. Stopped in today for lunch. Even though the place was almost completely full, we snagged 2 seats at the bar. The bartender was... very friendly and efficient. If I can give this place a 10 stars I would. Food quality, service & establishment excellent. One thing I noticed everybody... mentioned the burgers but, their fries are so good & crispy, you literally feel the juiciness well preserved. The food was okay. I ordered a specialty burger which had bacon but I asked for it without it. When it arrives it had bacon and... I told the server about it and he took it back to the cook. 5 seconds later he hands me back the burger with still pieces ofbacon on it. I expected them to remake my burger instead of just taking the bacon off my sandwich. I don't eat bacon for areason and didn't want the juice from the bacon on my burger. The fried zucchini and cheese curds were okay. I've had better. Myfriend ordered the Purple Monkey drink and enjoyed it. Read more
Close friends said you gotta try this place. Definitely didn't disappoint. First off the sour beer list is top notch. The... server even said we "pride ourselves on top notch beer". I was sold just off the ????. NOW the ???? we're top rated as you cansee from the pic it hit the spot. Read more
