My family and I had enjoyed breakfast here in the past and were looking forward to a nice breakfast last week on our vacation.... Unfortunately, this was not the case. The prices have gone up and the portions sizes and quality have gone down, along with theservice. The waitress acted like she couldn?t be bothered to wait on us. My daughter ordered the chocolate and chocolate chipwaffles with ice cream. It came drenched in chocolate syrup that was almost inedible and no chocolate chips. I ordered the hotfudge banana split waffle, thinking it was the same as prior years and it wasn?t. No pecans, small waffle, hardly any ice creamor bananas and the whip cream came from a can, not the homemade like before. Definitely not worth the $13. We ordered a side ofscrambled eggs, they arrived cold and looked like they were the leftovers scraped from the bottom of the pan that had beensitting. They definitely weren?t two eggs. We had to ask the waitress for our eggs and she was confused, reminded her and shewent and got them. Then had to ask for condiments, to which she just stared at us like we weren?t speaking English, got an eyeroll. My husband had to try to wave her down multiple times before he could get a refill on his coffee. The waitress never cameby to see if we wanted or needed anything else. But when it was time to pay the bill, which we did at the table because I wasusing my debit card and she saw I had to give the forced tip, her attitude changed and asked if there was anything else shecould do. If I had the chance, I would?ve customized the tip. What I was forced to tip was definitely not worth the service wereceived. I?ve attached photos of the hot fudge banana split waffle from 2020 when they were good and had better owners and theone from our visit last week, since new owners have taken over. Searching for a local breakfast spot and came across this small breakfast area. Food was fairly good but the cost was a bit... pricey on the pricier side/average breakfast pricing. The coffee however was spectacular. I got a special Americano drink andtasted one of their special lattes and enjoyed them both! Not very milky and had lots of flavor. Food-wise I got the chocolatewaffle which had drizzles of chocolate chips drizzled on top with whip cream. Overall the experience was a good one. Lots ofpeople were around and had a 30 minute wait which wasn't as bad as some of the other places around on a busy Sunday morning. Iwould definitely recommend to those traveling around but would not recommend for big parties for a busy weekend as space ispretty limited. Read more
Me and my husband had breakfast here 2 times and the tastes really good! I wanted have their breakfast for dinner LOL. I almost... didn't stay the second time due to an allergic reaction but I got better and came back in and ATE! Mr. Pancake keep cooking! Read more
During my stay in the Dells, my group went here twice! Staff is nice, patient, and works quickly to seat guests. In my two... visits, I ordered the Strawberry Crepes-very yummy! The portions are decent with fair prices and a variety of menu options.This place does not split checks which was a bit weird. Read more
Got here at7:15A.M.and worth it. Well worth the price. Warming welcomed, waiting area decor/sale stuffed animals. Decent service... with a warm smile . Freshly made batter and freshly squeezed orange juice, our coffee came with a thermal pitcher for refill.well worth the wait for food. But it didn?t take long anyway. Pancakes were fluffy and moist. The chocolate pancake was lightwith crispy bacons. Belgian waffle was soft on the inside, crisp on the outside perfectly with whipped Cream. Can?t wait to tryothers on their menu. Read more
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Mr. Pancake. The pancakes were great and you had your choice of syrup, Maple, Strawberry,... Honey, or Blueberry. Very fun atmosphere as the restaurant had a steam boat theme. Very poplar place. The locals know that it isgood too. Read more
Amazing breakfast spot. Get there early as it got quite busy after 10 a.m. The pancakes were amazing. Their house Honey,... cinnamon syrup was just perfect. Great atmosphere, fast service, great customer service and good prices. Visit multiple timesduring our vacation because it was that good. Highly recommend for breakfast in The Dells. Read more
We ate here while in town. Food was good but it took them 15 minutes to acknowledge we were there after being seated. My... husband had to go up to 1 of the few standing at the edge of the kitchen doing nothing. The people next to us got offered acertificate of some kind because they forgot them completely.
