I booked a balcony room thinking it would be nice to crack the door for fresh air? little did I know the balconies are within... the building and overlooking the pool. We couldn?t even open the door at all without our room smelling like chlorine and smokedmeat from the restaurant. The room was very hot all night despite cranking the air. The pool and bar area were very loud untilquite late which of course we could hear because of the balcony/pool/bar being one wide open space. Upon check in, we were told?breakfast is available from 7-11am.? It was typically hotel food, nothing fancy at all. We were VERY shocked to receive a $65bill! It was not clear upon check-in that breakfast was extra and no where within the breakfast area was the cost posted. Thereis absolutely NO WAY I would pay $20 per person for THAT breakfast! We each had 1 plate of mediocre (at best) breakfast. We haddinner at the restaurant the evening before and while it was quite delicious, the bill for myself and my 4 year old was $77before tip. When we first arrived the lobby looked nice but when we got to our room it was a different story. The ceiling in the bathroom... was disgusting and looked like it had mold in it. There?s no fan in the bathroom which is probably why the ceiling looked likeyou could peel it off (from condensation). Our room was above the restaurant which was extremely loud on Saturday night and wecould not go to sleep until almost 1 am, which was terrible since we had to be at the airport at 4:30 that morning. The ?noisecanceller? in the room was busted so we couldn?t use it to see if that would help with the obnoxious noise. The railing hadcoffee spilled everywhere which clearly had not been cleaned by housekeeping. The bathroom had black hairs everywhere and myhair is not black so that was quite disgusting. The bathroom floors were dirty and had not been washed when we got there. Thefront desk staff was rude half the time, as well as the person running the restaurant for breakfast. This hotel was a lastresort to stay close to Boston and it was highly disappointing and gross and I would not recommend. Not the least bit what Iwould expect from a Hilton. Read more

The look of the hotel and rooms is beautiful. Sleeping and comfort is another story. Beds were not comfortable and there were... pubic hairs throughout the bed. Yuck! The restaurant off of the lobby is way too expensive for the portions of anything youorder. Food was delicious but $10 for a scoop of mashed potatoes? Our meal was $150 for 2 people. Overall hotel impression: The staff at the front desk was great, and the room is modern and fairly updated. Staff was friendly,... there is a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. The bartender was super nice, and the food was good. The bar area was really nice aswell. Very nice staff overall, and the hotel itself looks very updated overall. The room itself: King room without balcony isOK size, nice bathroom, mini fridge and small workspace. The room wasn?t quiet, you could hear all of the faucets in adjoiningrooms and the bathroom seemed to hum pretty much 24/7. This did not bother me personally. It was not intolerable, but it wassomewhat distracting. OK room for the price. The room itself was clean, but the bed clearly wasn?t. It was obvious that thesheets weren?t cleaned or changed. Otherwise, the room was clean. I would return, if it were cheaper and I would probably get abalcony room. Worth noting: rooms with a balcony overlook indoors, likely a bar area or a pool. I do not know if there areoutward facing balconies, but the ones that I saw faced in words. So if you choose ?balcony?, you will be looking at theinterior of the building. What a fantastic staff!! All of the employees we encountered were courteous, friendly, professional and very accommodating! ... Laura, at the front desk was especially warm, welcoming and gracious! Vincent, the maintenance engineer problem solved,enabling us to charge our electric vehicle! The only disappointment was regarding breakfast. We have stayed in many hotelsthat offer a modest complementary breakfast. This hotel does not. The $20.00 per person cost seemed high. Read more
