Food was amazing - we dined in this past week while exploring parts of CT. My wife and I tried the cavatelli marinara and vodka;... it felt like we were actually dining in Italy - that's how good it was. The portions were so big that we had lunch for the nextday. Now I really can't understand how a pizza joint in Wolcott can have a wait time for pick-up of almost 2 hours. I mean I can... drive to New Haven and get into Sally's, Modern or Pepe's and eat in that time and get home and take a nap. I really don't knowwho these people think they are..and the pizza is good but not 2 hour wait good. Read more
Terrible service! Ordered over the phone was told 35 minutes. Waited over 1 hour for a grinder and meatballs, which were... terrible. . My order had been sitting on the oven for 40 minutes. The staff was to busy stuffing their faces with pizza to helptheir customers.This place sucks!! I will never go there again! If I could give them zero stars I would! Read more
great pizza, rude manager. ordered half shrimp half cheese and literally had just one piece of shrimp on each slice of the... shrimp side .. there’s apparently supposed to be 9 and the manager insisted it was 9 on the pizza even though there wasn’t.I wouldn’t lie about it lol. she was super rude so i hung up because i already knew it wasn’t going anywhere. Try the mashed potato, bacon, and caramelized onion pizza. Love New Haven style pizza. Brick oven. Great crust.
Was visiting family and I was recommended this place. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and calamari. The pizza was so... tasty and yummy. Loved the calamari as well. Very prompt and courteous service. Read more
Love this place for pizza. Brick oven style too.. wasn't suprising that there was a wait for take out... i truly do appreciate... the fact that when we called in the order there was no sugar coating the wait time... staff always very sweet, attentive,friendly also very helpful and accommodating. Especially since i like little side items like sauce to dip my crust in... Thankyou for another wonderful pie.. And for cooking for us.... lol... We had sausage, mushrooms and onion this time... yummy.... Ofcourse my king of spice added crushed red pepper.. opted for no franks hot sauce on this one lol.... Good Lord. What a bunch of greedy bastages. The farging icehole of an owner says that they don't charge less for a half a... pizza's worth of toppings if they sprinkle them across the whole pizza. After burning my white clam and bacon "specialty" pizzalast week, they can't accommodate a simple request and charge me a fair price??? Guess what, the 3 other places nearby will, andthey won't charge me $27 for a large pizza. Brutal. Read more
