Went there for the first time today. Bagels are delicious! Will be going there frequently from now on.
So first of all, they serve the best bagles in the state, Ami's. So soft and delicious and fresh. Great cream cheeses. Amazing... breakfast sandwiches. I always hope I get to work on that side of the state so I can drive by it and stop there for breakfast.The bagels are fresh and very popular so don't wait to go there or order, they might be out of your favorite bagel. I am very disappointed with my breakfast sandwich, this was my first time trying them this morning and I had high expectations... and unfortunately they did not make the cut. I got a onion bagel toasted with butter and Ham and extra cheese, there was nearlyany ham and a slice of cheese maybe. I did did take pictures because when I review a new place to eat I like to give honestfeedback. So my honest feedback is I could get the same Ham and cheese sandwich at Dunkin right up the street for the same priceand I would have got my extra cheese. But there are other places right down the road that they put so much ham and cheese inthem no need for extra and for less money. I really waited a while to give my review of this place. First I will say that the majority of my experiences here have been... good- the food is always good and so is the coffee. My only gripes are employee rudeness and the online ordering system- twicenow it has mysteriously ?lost? my order. I know they can?t control that, so that?s not necessarily the reason for 4 stars. Thefirst time this happened, I placed the order at 6:05am... they begin accepting orders at 6:00am, and I have to be out of Wolcottbefore 6:25 to make it to work on time. I figured this would give plenty of time to complete the coffee and toasted bagel... Iarrive around 6:22, and am not greeted at all, just given a blank stare by an employee. I say that I?m there picking up a mobileorder and he seems genuinely startled, says ?oh yeah it?s right over here...? and walks away. About a minute later he comes backand asks what my order was.... if it was ?right here?, why are you asking me what my order was? So I had to wait for them tomake my entire order while standing there, and now I?m late for work. No one apologized or offered an explanation. I stoppedgoing for a while, based on that experience and then today again the same exact thing happens- I show them my email receipt (Iassume they thought I was making it up?) and again had to wait to receive my order, as other customers come in, place orders andleave quickly. What?s the point of ordering ahead if you end up waiting even longer, not only for them to make the order, but toall stand around the register trying to figure it out? Again no apologies, and the same rudeness from said employee. I love thefood here and I?m all for supporting small local businesses- the owner here is wonderful and really great when I?ve interactedwith him, but the employees attitudes, lack of convenience and multiple errors on my last trips have caused me to reconsidercoming here. You can order ahead with the ... convenient Clover app and your order is pre-paid and ready when you get there! I love the convenience of that! Everyone, ownerand staff, are so friendly.
