We've stayed here several times now over the past couple years and plan to continue. It's such a relaxing and elegant setting.... The rooms are classicly designed the feel like you're in a Charles Dickens novel while having all the modern amenities you'dexpect. The included breakfast is fresh and the restaurant is a delightful treat. Favorite vibe though is waking to a customroasted hot coffee on the front porch (see Pic). Best way to start the day! Our stay on August 3rd was our first, and it won't be our last. You'd been on my bucket list since my early days with White... Point Beach Resort, and have always admired Donna and Jim's passion and contribution to the tourism industry. Spending ourwedding night almost 3 decades ago at the Amherst Shore Inn, it was lovely to include you as part of this years anniversaryadventure. Our room, well, that will always have to be OUR room :-) The stately and beautiful decor, the library, the garden'sare stunning - and that trail was a delightful discovery. The patio is such an oasis for our breakfast which was full of varietyand delicious!), my only regret is that we didn't dine with you for dinner - we'll fix that on our next visit - when we bring agang of friends with us for a winter hiking adventure. The place is lovely, gardens are beautiful, and it's got a nice historic charm to it. Definitely recommend eating supper there,... as it was easily one of the best meals we had while visiting Nova Scotia. Staff was also super lovely! Read more
Blomidon Inn is great, with everything you'd expect from a classic bed and breakfast. The grounds are well kept, and the hotel... is clean. We had two rooms, one of which was notably nicer and newer than the other. I would recommend asking for a newlyrenovated room if at all possible. Breakfast is fine, but feels a bit more like a Hilton Hotel continental than a specialexperience. Would be 5 stars if breakfast was better. Read more
My family and I had the most incredible stay here this summer. The rooms were beautiful, the gardens were immaculate, the food... was great, and the employees were all very friendly. They didn?t even mind that my baby made a huge mess on the dining roomfloor every morning at breakfast (sorry!). Easy walking distance to town as well. We felt very welcome here.
