The rating is 1 out of 10 (not 5).Considering the cost of one room at $260+ per night. It\'s a budget hotel with original... furniture, bad wall paper and cracks in the ceiling that could use a coat of paint. Take a look at the hotel road sign...couldhave said Bates Inn. In room coffee maker didn\'t work. Hot tub was green while the pool had a scum layer of hair on the top.Unusable. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered and picked up in the am with no table service. The staff was very busy, never saidhello and didn\'t make eye contact. Want a view...upgrade $$$$$in an empty hotel. Maid service is good as the place is clean.House rules prohibit you enjoying your wine country purchase anywhere but your dingy room. Oh ya the room a/c was not workingproperly. Awful. I should have used my tent . Annapolis is beautiful but stay away from this place. Read more

Cleaning staff were fabulous. Really working to keep place looking good. Front desk staff could tell people checking in about... the breakfast. Would be nice to be told to order it the day before or go without. Better if could just sign up for it whenchecking in. Also key cards kept de activating and that?s annoying. Rooms were clean and comfortable Read more

From checking in to checking out we had the most amazing visit . All the staff were excellent the whole entire place was beyond... clean the rooms were immaculate and one of the most comfortable beds I?ve ever slept in. We had supper there as well and themeal was priced perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The wine they paired the meal with was delicious as well. We drove 4hours for a night away and it was worth every minute.. Read more

Let me start off by saying every staff member that I came in contact with or interacted with during our stay was an absolute... pleasure to deal with. Everyone was friendly and helpful in every way. Absolutely the stand out point of staying here.\nThe restis okay.\nThe rooms need some updating. It feels as though they haven\'t had some in quite some time. Some of the furniture wasobviously repaired in a less than ideal way. The room itself is a bit small. The beds were different size than advertised. Thebathroom... Tiny. But overall everything was clean and presentable, it\'s just in need of some refresh.\nThe option of breakfastwas a nice inclusion and what we received was quite tasty. The page used to book and order breakfast (like the room) could alsouse some work.\nOverall not bad. Just some areas where some updates could have made the experience better. Read more

Had booked the king parlor Jacuzzi room, however this was not available as the tub was being fixed. Understandable,as this... happens so we were booked into a regular King room.Room was spacious and super clean! The bed was to die for!! So super comfy!!Hotel is beautiful and rustic and charming. Somewhat dated but wonderful! Breakfast was included and we ordered online the nightbefore by 10pm. About five choices provided. We ordered travellers breakfast, which was choice of bacon or sausage, homestylepotatoes, scrambled eggs and a blueberry muffin. Coffee or tea. Would have liked the option of orange juice or apple juice. Itwas good. Room service would have been great as we had to go downstairs to pick up our breakfast. Was not a game changer butwould have been nice to be able to order supper to our room the night of arrival as well. Read more

The Old Orchard Inn has some beautiful views from their patio, and great service. The staff were great, and extremely friendly.... Tasty breakfast - ordered online in the mornings.\nHowever, the Inn/hotel itself is very outdated and would definitely benefitfrom renovations. The patio with the beautiful view closes at 8:30pm along with the restaurant which is disappointing.\nMy onlyother main concern is the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. While I went there every day of my stay (3 times), I was oftenquestioning how often the pool/hot tub are cleaned and maintained. The pool is not a salt water pool... which doesn\'t matter tome, but the water was indeed very very salty! Pool tiling was stained as well. As for the hot tub, there were many floaties inthe water and it did not have a pleasant odour. I ensured to thoroughly shower before and after the pool/hot tub. Read more

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. The view from our room was amazing. The service was great... especially in the restaurant. The prices were reasonable and portions very good. Free parking and breakfast included if you donot book through a third party. We will be back again for sure. Read more
