My husband and I went here after being told about the 4 hour wait time at Ishnala for our wedding anniversary. We were excited... to hear that they had a Prime Rib Buffet on Saturdays. We were able to sit down right away. Service was great - our sever waskind and attentive. We were pleased to find several delicious items on the buffet other than the prime rib - the shrimp, ribs,and fried chicken were delicious. But the Prime Rib melted in our mouths. Stopped in on our way through on the motorcycle, Burgers were delicious, waiter and service was prompt and very nice. The... building itself was a little out dated but not horrible. Will definitely be camping there next summer so we can hit up the sweetlooking water park across the way! Read more
Extremely disappointing. Service was very good, but the food was the worst I have ever tried to consume at a restaurant in my... life. The wine glasses they brought out for our wine with dinner were very dirty, we asked for new glasses and they were dirty.The ham, chicken & potatoes had terrible flavor, temperature & texture. The salad bar was actually very good along with thecoleslaw. I should've just had the salad bar alone. Definitely will not go back and I am a local that tries to support localbusinesses especially restaurants, but I will not spend my money here again. Read more
Food was good we had breakfast. The previous customers put the help in a bad mood it was a very busy morning for them. We... understood and did our best to makeup for the customers before. We stopped by the restaurant to have drinks and dinner with friends that were camping. The restaurant was not busy at all.... Service was quick at the bar. Waitstaff was friendly. Bartender was friendly but seemed inexperienced. She didn?t know how tomake a martini. Counters, tables, and glassware were clean. The room temperature was cool indoors. Food was hot from the buffetbut was not good. The gravy ladle for the chicken gravy was stuck under a layer of gravy skin, to the point the ladle waspulling the whole top with it. We didn?t think the buffet was tended to. Also, heads up, you will need to put on a pair ofgloves when you serve yourself from the buffet. Prime rib was cold sitting under a heat light and was definitely still mooing.The whole building could use a bit of fixing and maintenance. The bathrooms need a good deep clean! I would say the place isdecorated very ?unique? with the dolls and silk flowers everywhere. There is a bakers case that has already made cookies anddesserts. If you are camping, it?s probably an okay place to stop. I definitely would not go out of my way to go back. Read more
Went for a warm breakfast this winter per recommendation, and it was wonderful. The woman serving was very welcoming and... attentive. Large variety of menu and everything at our table was fresh and delicious. Old family restaurant feel, decoratedbeautifully for each coming holiday. Will be back! Read more
