I had my wedding and I had my food catered from Shahi Palace. I rarely write reviews but I feel obligated to write a review for... Shahi Palace because they not only provided me with great food on short-term notice, but they also were very reasonable withtheir pricing. The food was delicious and till this day, guests at my wedding still talk about how they enjoyed food at mywedding. My cousins also got married after I did and they have also catered from Shahi Palace. I love and respect the owner forhonoring me with great food and a negotiable price for my wedding. I wish more restaurant owners were like the owner of ShahiPalace. I will always recommend Shahi Palace to my family. I was also reading some reviews on here that were negative, I feellike people just love taking their anger out on business owners for no reason. There is a trend in New Jersey to write badreviews and threaten restaurant owners to give money back or to obtain refunds. I think desi people need to stop being so cheapand unreasonable when it comes to these refund-taking schemes. Nevertheless, I gave Shahi Palace a 5-star review because itsatisfied me as a customer who was seeking great-tasting food at a reasonable price for the wedding. JazakAllah. Read more

I am a foodie. My favorite cuisines are Pakistani desi food, Mediterranean and chinese. I have been living in the states for 21... years and back then in NJ you had limited options among Pakistani restaurants with only Shalimar, shahnawaz and shezan availablebut ever since Shahi Palace, Chai Chenak and Good Food By Uzma have come they have raised the bar and standard of quality foodthat they offer. Its not easy to run a restaurant so i give mad respect to them to maintain high standards. Coming to Shahipalace and I have to say it is one of the finest Pakistani restaurants in NJ. They are probably the only Pakistani restaurantnow in NJ that offer buffet with a variety of food selection and dessert. The buffet is offered only on the weekends. I havebeen coming to this restaurant since 2016 and every food item that I have ordered has been delicious and mouth watering . Theowners and the staff are very nice. They go above and beyond for their customers. Though I love most of their food items thatthey have to offer but my personal favorites are Chicken Biryani, chicken seekh kebab, Chilli Chicken, Sesame Chicken and AlooPalak. Their home-made or custom made Kulfi is far better then the kulfi that's sold out in the market. Have so many memoriesattached with this restaurant. The environment, atmosphere and ambience is very nice. Will be coming to this restaurant againand again and again. Once again shout out to the owners for doing a great job ???? ????. Brother Sultancatered my daughter wedding, and we simply couldn't have imagined the quality of food, service, professionalism,... and general loveliness. We had multiple guests say that it was the BEST FOOD they'd ever had at a wedding -- one couple evensaid it was the best food they'd ever had period. Areca nut causes stomach bloating instantaneously. Areca nut boiled water is used prepare food in mass catering such as wedding... and any public functions. Their sole objective is control the food consumption in sub continent countries. Shahi Palace has usedareca nut or any similar substance in their buffet preparation. Even if you have appetite and likeness to taste differentcultural dishes, instantaneously bloated stomach will not permit to consume at least 25% of your average capacity. There are nofood for vegetarian diners; even though spring rolls, samosa, channa masala, Palak Panner, allo ki bhujia on the display, allthe dishes are disgusting and inedible. If you are a stubborn person, and would like to indulge the strength of areca nut, youshould dine at Shahi lunch buffet during weekends All the Americans should know about the magic of areca nut.
