We enjoy coming here and recommend it to all our friends. The food is fantastic every time, the atmosphere is great and tonight... they had a DJ and Carnival dancers as entertainment. The reason for giving a 4 star rating is because I tried to book areservation for 8 and nobody answered the phone, that was on numerous occasions and I left voice mails but never received a callback. If they fix that part of the customer service/care I will rate it as 5 stars. Read more
If you love meat you must go there, 75$ and all you can eat, may sound pricey but it?s far from that, I tried like 7 kinds of... meat, all with different seasonings and the sides just on point, definitely a place to hang out with friends, drink some andenjoy the confy and fancy place. Desserts can be better, all of the options are loaded with enough sugar to kill a diabetic. Sobe aware of that. NOT THE BEST PHOTOS but I was enjoying so much everything that I forgot aesthetic lol. The quality of the food was really good, from the meats to the sides. No longer a buffet since Covid but you order items to your... table. A few mix-ups with the service staff but everyone was friendly, it all got sorted and we had a great time overall. Read more
Food was really very good and the young men who brought out the meats were excellent. Super service by Daniel, Sebastian and... Carlos. These gentlemen were so pleasant and attentive. They get 6 stars!!!There were some issues however. Too many fruit fliesall over the place and they got into the Sangria. They did credit that back as it was barely touched, but it almost seemed as ifa favour was being done. The caipirinha was at best a 5/10. Our server was quite pleasant but we had to wait quite a long timefor our side dishes and they didn?t even bring out half of them. Some we were told after the fact that they don?t serve themanymore after we ordered. Very disappointing. Also, it took us almost 20mins to get our drinks. The ambience is different fromthe one on Eglinton. A flat gratuity is charged as well, which I don?t feel is appropriate as you are paying for the service youreceive and we should determine that. Went here to celebrate my little cousin's 13th birthday. We were a decent size party of 9. This place was amazing.the food was... *chef's kiss* the meats just kept and the kids loved all the sides..they kept saying how the flavors were simple but the foodsabsolutely seasoned to perfection the side were super delicious as well. The drinks were delicious and captured all aspects oftropical living. Our table tried the Mango mule, the Garden, the Copa Sour and the Carnival. All of then fantastic. The waitstaff were also exceptional every single one that came to our table had a pleasant attitude special thanks to Eric for make thenight for my little cousins as well A++ all around guys. COPACABANA!!! so I made a reservation on Good Friday April 15th to celebrate my son's Champagne 15th Birthday with 14 family... members. Our table was ready at 8pm and our server ISABELLA was THE BEST!!! She had an AMAZING personality and was alwaysattentive when we needed her with a smile and that was appreciated. We had other staff that would come by and ask if there wasanything that we needed and again that was appreciated as well. It did take a lil bit for the cycle of all the meats to comeout, BUT I will say this - that there is a process, even when they shave your pieces of meat off, they take the skewer back intothe kitchen to grill the exposed pieces again - so that takes time. If there was a meat we saw going to another table, we wouldjust ask for the same and eventually someone would send some over. The trolley that has the side dishes was delicious and thestaff was making the best with maneuvering around our large table. Whenever we wanted additional sides, Isabella stepped rightin and would bring them out to us from the trolley. We had a few requests for well done meats and they advised us it would taketime, and when ready it was brought out separately on dishes (very nicely). Jay brought the desserts and the creme brulee wasDelish????????. I know there was a lot of negative reviews & complaints made/written regarding this location especially sinceCovid - but that was not my experience at ALLLLL!!! I had a wonderful time and so did my Son, family and guests! This was my first time at Copa Cabana and I loved the experience. The steaks were mouth watering, also the service was super... good and at the table. The server was very diligent and kept ensuring we were ok. The dessert cart had so much to choose fromand the orange flan was amazing! All in all a great experience and special mention for the amazing performers who liven up themood! Read more
