This place is the best Ethiopian restaurant around (and I've tried several). The food is just delicious (very vegetarian/vegan... friendly), the staff (especially the lady at the front counter) is always so kind and warm, and the interior design of therestaurant is beautiful. They even have vegan baklava (I haven't found that elsewhere). Love love love coming here and encourageanyone who loves flavorful food and a lovely atmosphere to try it too. Read more
Great quality food, service, and environment. As a picky eater my experience here was stress-free, fun, and filling. Loved the service and the quality of the good. The 8 serving veggie sampler was excellent, especially the 3 types of lentils.... They have the spice level at medium to mild across all dishes Make sure to go with a friend or group of friends so that you cantry everything and of course make sureto dig in with your hands (don't use any utensils!) Absolute perfection... in a warm, cozy and unassuming setting. This place is the real deal, without the big price tag of "fancy"... Ethiopian restaurants in the DMV area. All 8 of the veggie dishes were amazing. The meat was also fantastic. I couldn't ask foranything more. SO happy this place made it through Covid and I can't wait to go back! Read more
