Momma Bento is so great. Really funny and sweet and extremely hospitable. In addition to this the food tasted great, very fresh... and soft. The sauces weren't overpowering and the food was very comforting. We enjoyed the dumplings quite a bit. I wasn'tparticularly hungry walking in (didn't intend to eat) but now I'm glad a did because it's definitely a place I'll be going backto. Read more
2 years ago I would visit here often, when I moved to Texas nothing compared, especially the dumplings and plum tea, I craved... it, fast-forward and I'm home again, and here I am sitting in the familiar seating, eating food that I could have sworn I dreamtup because of how amazing it taste, the wonderful owners make this with so much love, and the love shows in everything frompresentation, conversation, and food. Overpriced! Excuses were due to inflation. Charged for little add ons like soy sauce. Ramen tasted like they were those 0.42... cent ramen you get at Walmart. Which is right across the street. And supposedly it had chicken which I found no traces of. Willnot return and do not recommend. Read more
Momma bento has an amazing personality! Really adds up to the experience. The sushi and dumplings are so good. It is pricy but I... think it is worth it. The sushi portions are a bit small but the taste makes up for it. Read more
After being trapped in the house for 2 days during the snow storm, I decided to feed into my Udon craving and made the 45 min (3... mile) trek to Bento for shrimp udon. Imagine my surprise arriving home to realize I only received 1 shrimp in each bowl! I getthat the weather was bad, but if you didn?t have enough shrimp to fill my order, give me the decency of telling me that over thephone before I drive 70 mins round trip! SUPER DISAPPOINTED ???? The sushi is delicious and the soy sauce homemade. The meal was very expensive. Plus, I paid $9.00 for ginseng tea. The tea... had fresh ginseng and was very good. I am not sure it was nine dollars' worth of good. I might return, but only as often as mypoor purse strings will allow. Read more
