I drove to this location on a Thursday afternoon before shopping at Potomac Mills and enjoyed my visit. The store sits in a... strip mall about a mile or so across from Potomac Mills not easily seen from the road. The inside looks clean even if thefurnishings look older and more rustic. Service struck me as pleasant and efficient. I also observed what I presume to be amanager greeting customers with a ?Welcome in!? I overheard reassuring communication among the manager and cooks about a feworders. Food then arrived in a reasonable time after my order. The online reviews suggested quality food, and I was notdisappointed. I ordered chicken and waffles along with a side of crinkle fries and some donut holes. The chicken was predictablythermally hot and still juicy and not dry in any sense. The waffle could have been a little warmer, but the texture and tastewere fine to be sure. The good-tasting fries could be better only with frying a minute or two longer and a little salt. Thedonut holes were a pleasant ending with a crisp exterior rolled in cinnamon sugar and a soft interior still warm. The totalbill came to about $20 excluding tax, so I left feeling a sense of value that I experience much less frequently than I wouldlike. The staff know their way around a fryer and offer an appealing choice for a quick lunch or dinner bite. The chicken sandwich is great! Large piece of juicy fried chicken on toasted, what looks like brioche, buns. The afterburner... sauce is sweet and spicy. My fries were perfectly crispy! The sweet tea is really sweet, which can be a pro or con. You candilute it with unsweetened tea if that's a problem though. Read more
Customer service was very friendly. Food was pretty good. I ordered "After Burner" sauce on my sandwich. It was just hot enough.... My girlfriend ordered "Angry Hot" and the worker even asked "Are you sure?" ???? She said it was very hot but still couldhandle it. The fries are crinkle cut. 5/5! Was highly recommend by my brother, so I had to give this place a try. I can say, I was not disappointed whatsoever! The... food was delicious and the service was great! The Food: I weren't with the #1 Combo (Chicken sandwich, fries and drink). Forflavor, I chose the "After Burner (Habanero)" sauce because I wasn't sure how spicy their spice levels were. The after burnerwasn't too spicy, the flavor was delicious and on the sweeter side. The habanero was definitely hitting the spot. As for thechicken sandwich, the sandwich is very delicious and tender! The chicken is dipped in the sauce and is topped with some nicecoleslaw. All the flavors worked very well together and it's was a very good hot chicken sandwich. The fries are crinkle cut andwe're very crisp too! I also had the Mac n cheese and it was good as well. Finally got to come here after waiting for the opening! And it did not disappoint! You?re greeted as soon as you walk in, good... selection of 90?s and early 2000?s pop and rock playing. My boyfriend and I both got the chicken sandwich. He said it neededmore coleslaw (his preference) but mine was perfect. Definitely the best chicken sandwich I have had, especially around here. The customer service gets the 5 stars. The cashier Amjed gave good insight on my order. Originally I said to put my angry hot... sauce on my order and gently pushed it my be better on the side and I'm so glad I listened. We ordered the crinkled chickenfries one with base sauce and other as mentioned. My friend said it was the most satisfying experience of food she's had and shedoesn't rave about food much. Had the chicken sandwich and chicken and waffles. Pick the lowest heat level on the chicken and waffles; a bit mild for me. Got... the third level on the chicken sandwich; i was drinking sweet tea with every other bite. I think level two would be the rightfit for me. After trying the third level of heat, i do not think i can endure level four. Good food, laid back atmosphere, veryfriendly staff. Highly recommended for those that like spicy chicken. Halal too.
