May just say that this place hit a home run. To start our server, Desarae, was amazing. She started off by asking about any... allergies. As someone who is heavily allergic to poultry this was above and beyond. I wish all restaurants did this. Between herand the kitchen staff we had our food in no time. She was on top of it and checked on us just the right amount (not too littleand not over the top.) She had some amazing suggestions for first timers like us. When it came to our cocktails they wereperfect. My husband loved the pineapple painkiller saying he could drink a pitch of it. I had the cucumber watermelon margaritaand it was perfect for the hot day we had. It didn't have salt on the rim but I can promise you don't need it. The combinationof the ingredients made the drink have a subtle salt taste which made it perfect! When it came to the appetizers we had the ahituna wontons and the gluten free ahi tuna option. They were soooo good. I can't explain how phenomenal the flavors cametogether! Now this all was just topped with our main courses being cooked to perfection. I had the sirloin tips rare. The wecooked perfectly and we so juicy. The just dissolved in my mouth. My husband had the ahi tuna poki bowl. It's was the perfectamount of ingredients mean there was plenty of ahi tuna for the rest of the bowl. The flavors complimented each other making itthe perfect end to the evening. We would have absolutely ordered dessert, but we're so full we couldn't take another bite. Weboth agreed the cost for the amount of food and the quality was perfect! The food, drinks, and service were wonderful.. Went for a simple Sunday lunch. The margarita pizza - fresh mozzarella with a... light, but chewy, crust. Delicious!. Now this drank! Service was good, liked the atmosphere. Serving sizes were large. Had to take most of it as leftovers. Typical menu items -... wasn’t wowed by the selection. If you get sweet potato fries ask for them to be a little undercook; they were very hard,“rubber” chewy. Expensive for what it was IMO. Read more
The Food was gr8 had an amazing lunch after church w the fam to celebrate fathers day. I ordered the Teriyaki glazed salmon... bowl. Joe's is not cheap, but the over priced bowl was amazing ???? I'd get it a agin ???????????????? Read more
This place is not at all what I was expecting, it was better. My friend and I were trying to go to Firebirds across the street... but it was too packed and decided to go to Not Your Average Joe's. Im thinking this is going to be a place that mostly sells barfood like burgers and wings but I was pleasantly surprised. This is actually a really nice restaurant that happens to have alittle bar. The menu had seafood, salads, pizza, steak, a plethora of things. I had the sirloin tips (medium well) with mashedpotatoes and sautéed spinach along with the lemonade bourbon smash. The food was amazing and the steak was cooked just right. Iam definitely recommending this place and would checkout other things on the menu. It’s been a while since I visited Not Your Average….but always believed this meal deserved 5 stars. I was there for lunch... and though I don’t remember my server, this is by far the best steak that wasn’t a Filet Mignon. It was perfect, tasty, andsatisfying. It was the lunch hour and the portion was just right. I was able to return to work feeling energized rather thanexhausted. Highly recommend this dish. Read more
11/6/21: We loved Lauren's service - she was ready to take our food order with our drink order, brought a second round of NYAJ's... amazing bread and olive oil dip, brought drink refills without having to ask... The food is also very good and the place emits afun energy. Read more
September 24, 2022: My sixth take out order from Joe's was not such a good experience. Ordered one large pizza with three... toppings, was charged for all three. When I picked it up, I noticed the box had a seal on it and the restaurant was not busy,so I didn't check the pizza. Got it home and there only 1 topping on half the pizza. Called the restaurant immediately,explained the problem and was told a manager would call me back. A week later haven't heard from anyone. Paid the nearly $40for the one large pizza, taxes and tip. So, best advice open and check the pizza. July 2022: My first time ordering fromJOE'S. Pepperoni and Sausage pizza ???? ????. Cooked well done and it was excellent. Generous with the toppings.
