We decided to give e Vocelli's a try even though it had a low rating on Google, and were glad we did! We ordered a hand tossed... Supreme Pizza and it was cooked evenly and had just enough toppings and cheese (hate it when the pizza is overloaded withingredients and they dont get cooked evenly). The ingredients tasted great and the crust was almost crispy (we had itdelivered). Also, it wasn't sloppy when you went to pick up a slice, held together. That's a good sign of a greatslice. Looking forward to trying their other Pizzas and glad we found a local place that is better than the chain restaurants. Read more
I had placed an order for 1 Large Cheese Pizza and 1 Large Pepperoni Pizza for delivery. The order itself took an hour which is... weird because, when I got the notification that it was out for delivery, what should have been a 10-15 min drive turned out tobe 40-50 mins. Needless to say when I got the pizza's might family was famished and we were surprised by the fact that wereceived 2 cheese pizzas instead. I immediately called them to rectify this information and the person over the phone had askedif I had returned the pizza which I had said no since the driver had left. They said they would bring us another pizza withpepperoni this time and I thanked them for their service. When the new pizza arrived another 40 mins later I was surprised to beasked to return the pizza that was wrongly sent to me. I said that I couldn't since, the wait was so long and I was under theimpression that the 2nd pizza wouldn't be returned due to their mistake, we had started eating it. The driver said that was thepolicy so after some thought I decided to have them take back the pepperoni pizza. Had a realized that was the policy I wouldn'thave bothered. With this and the fact that the pizza took forever to arrive I'll look to buy pizza elsewhere and you should too! Read more
My husband and I ordered a steak Stromboli each. That sounded so yummy we both thought. We paid $9 almost $10 a piece. The price... seamed fair enough. We waited 15-20 minutes for them to be prepared. We received our food. Hot and it looked and smelled sogood. Couldn?t wait to take a bite and taste the wonderful flavor. I cut the ends first. All bread, but very good forbreadsticks. Now for the middle- OMG! Seriously! Steakems! Do they still make that. No real steak, no flavor at all. So we paid$21 and left a tip. I have ordered here often, almost weekly. They?re fast and the drivers are always friendly. Sadly, this is the first awful... experience. I ordered at 5:30 pm. I received a text that it was out for delivery at 6:15 pm. Another 30 minutes goes by afterthe ?out for delivery? text and I called asking for the status as it normally doesn?t take that long. The person over the phonesaid the driver was very close and there were only 2 other deliveries. I live 2 miles from Vocelli and checked to see if therewas any traffic causing the hold up. Nothing. After 45 minutes, I decided call and cancel. I will be watching my credit cardstatement closely to ensure I?m credited, as the caller said I would. He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, which Idecided not to bother. Their pizza is very good, but I refuse to order from them again as there are more pizza shops nearby.It?s also a Thursday evening...I would probably expect this very long delay on a Friday or weekend. If I could return my whole order I would have. It took 2 hours for delivery (3.9 miles away). The pizza was under cooked. The... cannolis were soggie and the salad was inedible- lettuce was brown(not just a little, I tried to pick through, but all of it).So disappointed. I spent over 60 bucks for a terrible meal. I never write reviews it?s not my things but I couldn?t help it. I have always ordered from vocellis for about 3 years now.... About 6 months ago I ordered a pizza for delivery the driver tipped himself I ordered with a card. I checked my statement and hehad tipped himself $5. I went there and the manager was so rude. No matter how nice I was about the situation he gave me anattitude. which led to me getting loud and telling them I was going to report it he told me to go ahead but I left it alone.Fast forward to 6 months later. I just called today to place an order. I live literally less than 3min away. Steven told me theydon?t deliver to my address I asked why and his response was my driver said he doesn?t want to deliver to you because he haddelivered to you 6 times and you didn?t tip him. I was so shocked. I told him I tip when I have. And when I can. I dont knowwhen it became mandatory for customers to tip. You don?t know what I am dealing with financially. we are charged a delivery fee. A tip is just customers being nice. I am so shocked. And actually I was going to tip today. I was ordering a $15 pizza andgiving him $20. And you are willing to lose $15 for a $2 to $3 tip?? Read more
Very bad experience. I did an online delivery order. Was suppose to arrive in 45-60 minutes. At the 45 minute mark I get a phone... call that the food can not be delivered. I was offered a discount on the order if I came to get it. A co-worker of mine went topick up. Once he got back food was missing. The wings that were ordered were suppose to be buffalo, had no buffalo sauce. Thetomatoes in the salad were hard and not ripe. The Hawaiian pizza had bacon on it. When I called the store, the manager told methat he will have a delivery driver bring me the missing items. I wonder where he was when my order couldn't be delivered. Read more
