Visited town for a weekend, stumbled upon this place randomly, and returned for a second time before the weekend was done. Great... food (especially the breakfast tacos), charming vibe, friendly service, and no trouble finding seating on the patio with timefor a leisurely meal. Read more

Update: This is an updated review because I returned to West Egg and was happy to see they aren't using disposable plates... anymore!! Thats a big win for the environment. This visit, the food was delicious, thoroughly cooked and the staff werefriendlier. Original: I wanted to like this place and have it be a regular spot, but the food and atmosphere were sub par. Themood at Mamie's restaurants are never right, it just doesn't have a good feeling. No music and there seems to be tension amongthe staff and owner. Also, the food was served on paper plates which ruins the experience and quite frankly is bad for theenvironment. In addition, my food was undercooked and needed to be sent back.
