We've eaten at Crisp & Green before, and we loved it! We were less impressed with this location, however. It is a beautifully... decorated space, but because of the open, industrial design, the space is very live. It was extremely hard to hear the peopleserving us, and even as we sat and ate, it was hard to hear each other between the music and the talking of other people.Sound-absorbing panels would help! I would recommend taking your meal to go or eating outside. That being said, the food weordered was pretty good. I got the Pep in Your Step, and my hubby got the Tropic like it's Hot. Both were well-composed andfresh. The bread that came with it was extremely dry and nearly inedible. I don't feel the value quite matches what you get forit. We paid $26 for a salad and a rice bowl, so be aware of the cost before you head in. So, skip the bread, order your foodto-go, and you'll probably have a satisfying meal. Read more
I have ordered here a couple times so far and the food is delicious. The only negative is the acoustics in the space is like a... gymnasium. It is really hard to hear the staff asking questions about the order as every surface reflects sound. It coulddefinitely use some acoustic baffles and other sound absorbing materials. Read more
Update 7-1-22: Came back in and had the Bold and the Buffalo Grain bowl. It was good, plenty of food and my earlier concern... wasn't present this visit. I?m changing my rating to 5 stars. The food is good quality, the place is spotless and they arefriendly. What else could you ask for? Original review: First off, the salad was tasty. But, as they were building my Southwestsalad, the chicken was almost out so I got just a few pieces. Then came the black beans that were out so i got 5 or 6 beans. Icommented on this to the lady making my salad but was ignored. She could have gotten more chicken and beans. So i paid $13.65for a bunch of lettuce, corn and tasty dressing. I?m still hungry as I?m sitting in the store typing this. My wife?s Buffalograin bowl was filled as one would expect and very tasty. So $29 total. If we come back I?ll have the buffalo bowl. We love crisp and green however went to this new location and the kid making my bowl started making it wrong. I ordered the bold... and the Buffalo and she had put tomatoes on it and I let her know she was making it wrong.(the bold and buffalo does not comewith tomatoes and I never asked for them!) I told her that it was fine and I?ll just deal with the tomatoes. She then said wellI?ll have to charge you extra?. I told her Nope I?m not paying for tomatoes when they don?t even come on my bowl! That was hermistake. I told her to toss it and make me a new one. The portion size is way less then the one on grand. First time at C&G, and enjoyed. When I first walked in it was *loud*? think night club loud? I was dining by myself so it was... fine with me. I ordered a the Thai & Stop Me and the blueberry agua fresca for a total of $19.22? The salad was fine, a generousport of shrimp (~6)which would justify the price; however there wasn?t a whole lot of flavor in the salad. Will stop and tryagain. Read more
I was nearby and knew that this was the new location. I ordered a Greek salad but I ended up having them remake it because they... put the wrong ingredients in it. The second time was better but it just seemed like it wasn?t as full as it should have been.They definitely put way to much sauce in it, basically everything was drenched in it. I love healthy restaurants, and this place has soo many options! The manager was happy to be there, and even though the place... was packed I still was in and out in like 10 minutes. Great to have a quick, healthy food option in Woodbury. Allergy-friendly in that most menu items are naturally gluten free &... dairy free, and super easy to customize your order to add or leave out whatever you want. Clean, simple, and tasty! I keepcoming back to the grain bowls and smoothies.
