We went out for dinner tonight hoping for some Chicken PHO just like we used to get in Seattle. It was delicious! Rice Noodles... were perfect, sliced chicken and even came with the Cilantro just like it should. This is real Vietnamese PHO! Staff wereoverly helpful and pleasant. We Highly recommend this place. Vietnamese restaurant. When it comes to pho I would always choose Vietnamese pho over any others. But this experience was such a... big disappointment! The pho noodles was serve in all containers when we actually dine in. Looks so lost why that is but decidedto give it a go. Then!!!! The noodles they use was incorrect! It's noodles you use for stir-fried (pad thai) for all I do. Soshe took the old noodles in my pho to reheated as the picture above. Even after the noodles has been blanched twice its stillHARD, DUHHH cause those are for stir fried noodle. So we left just drinking the broth and meat. Never would I come back to thisrestaurant. Sorry but this was my first and now, my last. If only there were a negative or zero star option. Sorry, but this wasmy experience. Read more

I used to go here prior to Covid and loved it. Went last night to celebrate my birthday and was very disappointed. Not only do... they basically push you out the door (they don?t want you to eat in), but their food has gone way downhill. For three entreesthey gave us a regular container of rice and a tiny one. The sweet and sour shrimp was a joke?I didn?t get full on theentree?something like 6-7 shrimps for $13. My husband liked his food but the rest of my family was disappointed. I was mostdisappointed that I tipped before realizing we were going to be able to eat in. We were brought everything in to go containersand told they would charger us for water. They just lost a customer. Read more

I understand staffing issue prevent you from operating normally. However I ordered dinner for take out and someone made this... food and tried to pass it off as edible. The sesame sauce was just a bucket of sugary slop with sesame seeds in it. That?s theonly way to describe it. No flavor. Just sugar slop. The fired rice was almost worse. White rice that was burnt on a pan withscrambled eggs added. Again I am sympathetic to staffing issues. But this food is unacceptable. Would of understandably waitedlonger if it meant it was made correctly. Read more

I've been going to this restaurant for years. I like their food, however I don't think the cooking is consistent. I love kung... pao chicken for one and it's not the same every time I get it. Too much carrot makes it too sweeet. It's so thick sometimes andthe heat level is not consistent as well. I will continue to get food there, and I hope the inconsistencies improve. Read more

This place just cant compare to Thai Basil in Stillwater. This place is just as bad as Duc's Restaurant. I encourage you to... make the extra drive to try real food at Thai Basil, once you do you wont come back here again. Thanh Truc is only 3 min drivefrom my home. Thai Basil is a 20 minutes down to Stillwater, and 20 minutes back. After giving Thanh truc many, many tries, i Nolonger go there. That is how different the food quality is. I am not trying to be mean, I don't want to hurt the ownersfeelings, in fact I want them to read this review and make changes. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE TO STILLWATER. Your location isunbelievably convenient, please, PLEASE improve your food, I WANT to come back. Go eat at Thai basil, pick up the food, andbring it back to your restaurant, have your cooks make "your" green curry and compare it to Thai Basils green curry, and see foryourself. You are WORLDS apart. Please, I Implore you to improve your foods, restructure your ingredients and chef if you needto. If all your customers had an opportunity to try Thai Basil in Stillwater, you would be out of business. I only supportedyou because you were close and convenient, even now as I write this review hungry, I cant bring myself to eat another one ofyour disappointing meals again. Every time, I tell myself it will be different this time, ill try something different, maybe itwas a bad batch, but no longer. Failure after failure after failure, you have broken the trust. That's how bad it is. Read thisand CHANGE, be better, I want you to thrive, I want to brag to my friends and family that I live next to the greatest Thai foodrestaurant in all of the twin cities! Please, makes changes. I will personally pick up food from Thai Basil and bring it toyour store so we can compare their take out to your fresh food in your kitchen side by side. I'm sick and tired of driving toStillwater, but the food at Thai Basil is like a 8/10 when you are a 2/10. I usually wouldn't take the tim Read more

I had the chicken with crispy noodles. The woman working, I assume the owner, explained it all so beautifully and you can tell... she is proud of her place. Rightfully so! It was delicious and such a big portion it was 3 meals (at least for me:-)) The eggrolls are massive and handmade. The texture is so good. My husband used to come here so he's been before and spoke highly ofit. This was my first time and I will definitely return. Read more
