Wow! I was amazed by the appearance of this establishment as soon as I pulled in! I was very impressed. Talking about Jersey... hospitality ?? The food was delicious ???? the servers customer service was wonderful, and the layout of the establishment washigh quality on each level. This place is HUMONGOUS!!!! I appreciate the fact that although the music was loud and entertaining,the side I sat on we could barely heard it. I was able to engage in meaningful conversations and laughter. Adelphia is always so delicious. I actually remembered to take pictures this time. Except the Greek Soup. We ate the whole bowl... before we got to take a picture. This is honestly my favorite food here. We’ve taken trips here just to get a quart to takehome. Everything was so delicious. My favorite other than the Greek Soup was the Fire Roasted Crab Cakes. I haven't been here in a few years. Service was great, I ordered the prime rib, I did not expected it to be as big as it was.... Let's say it took me 2 days to finish it. It was seasoned perfectly the roasted veggies was on point. As you see in the pics Ihad put the steak knife next to the prime rib to give you an idea on how long it really was. Adelphias is somewhere I like to frequent. It’s great for a quick drink, happy hour specials, a nice dinner for a family... outing, weddings or other events, dance floor & music, really any type of occasion. I have been here many times. The quality ofmeals is fairly above average. The specials are awesome. The Long Island iced teas are especially made great. The ambiance isvery nice and neutral. The only thing I can say that I don’t particularly favor about the establishment is that they have ahigh turnover rate of serving staff. They are not careful enough in the hiring process, I’m almost sure you can get hiredwithout much or any serving experience under your belt. This is something I especially dislike in the industry because serviceis supposed to be the head of your experience when dining out. It floods the industry with people looking for quick, daily cashthat are not particularly suited for the job/industry. There has been a couple times where I had had servers that had absolutelyzero personality. That is not what I believe the service & hospitality industry to be. That being said, some of the bar tendingstaff are familiar faces. A couple of the managers are recognizable and the owner has a presence in the establishment. Visiting for the first time , the place is big and nicely decorated. The menu for vegetarians is limited. I had avocado toast... with well done egg. My husband had Baja fish taco which was delicious. I started doing this to help business during covid shut down and not for recognition, so it hurts me to have to write some... things about my experiences on any establishment i visit. Hopefully, the team can read about this and improve on their services.This is one of my favorite restaurants that said my salad was very fresh, and I love the idea of the combination of ingredients.My other order wasn't so tasteful.my order came with baked potatoes and I wasn't informed ahead that they are out of it, myWaiter brought my food and then told me that the kitchen just informed him they were out of it and so decided on my behalf toserve me mashed potatoes. Seriously??? How does an establishment like Adelphia make a mistake of 101 of a restaurant business?Secondly, my steak was overly cooked, tasteless, and just below the standard I have come to love about these places. One of the best things about a trip to NewJersey is the great restaurants. We really hit the jackpot with the Adelphia. This... Greek revival blown up restaurant had a huge menu and very efficient waitress. Loved the fish and gyro. The soup was great. Itwas just fantastic! Read more
