Really enjoyed our visit to Colonial. Great food and the service was excellent. Although we were too full to try them, the... desserts on display looked awesome. I wanted one of each! ???? However... This is the best diner I have been too. Plenty of parking and a short wait on Sunday late morning. The waitress Vanessa was... funny and attentive and the rest of the staff was great. The inside is clean and seems recently updated. The food was perfect,I over ordered because I wanted try everything and nothing disappointed. The creamed chipped beef was great and the crispy homefries were excellent. I also order pork roll, corned beef hash and Navy Bean soup and nothing disappointed. Read more

This is a lovely dinner - clean, bright and friendly. I was intimidated by the portion of their food - it is more than... generous. We ordered their chicken walnut salad and crab cake. Not only did the dish come in large portion but also wasbeautifully decorated, at least for a diner standard. Their crab cake is good quality - not too breaded. You can taste thefreshness of the crab meat. It was slightly burnt but it didn?t diminish its flavor. Our dinner come with a cup of soup, twosides. When we were ready to check out, we were told that it also come with dessert. Again, for a local diner, it is hittingall marks. Will come back the next time. Read more

I always get their vegan onion rings they are normally really good. But tonight they were raw and soggy. All the breading just... fell right off and was a pile of mush. I even tried putting them in my oven for a little but it didnt help .Was really lookingforward to these tonight. Read more
The interior of this diner is absolutely lovely and a nice change from the norm. Service was attentive and the menu had some... interesting options. I ordered the Alaskan Benedict and it was HUGE (see photo)! I typically finish my food but I had to leavesome behind for this. I did feel that the prices seemed a bit high but that won't deter me from returning. The bakery items inthe showcase up front looked insanely good too so I look forward to trying dessert there sometime. Read more
The food and the atmosphere were pretty good here. I had the cream chipped beef with some home fries and a fried egg and I was... pretty happy. My only issue is the cream chipped beef could?ve had a little bit more spices in it. It was a little bit on thebland side, but still very good. I will be back! Read more
