Filomina was very intimate atmosphere. Light was dim just enough lighting for and nice romantic dinner experience. I had ordered... the shrimp and crab Diablo which was awesome. To bad I didn't get to finish it. My wife ordered the stuff pork chops. Which wasa little dry. And salty. So she tasted my shrimp and crab Diablo and that was it she ate my dinner while I drank my water andate some bread lol. Needless to say I was still hungry when I got home. Our waiter was good I believe his name was Gary L. Hewas very attentive, and funny. I do suggest the Shrimp and Crab Diablo. It one of their most asked for dish according to Garyand we see why it was very good. Just make sure if your wife order something else and she don't like what she got your dinnerwill be gone also. Just order two. You won't be disappointed. In closing I do recommend going here. From the outside you wouldbelieve its an place you will have to go dressed oh you can but casual wear is accepted. There is no dress code from what I seenI had shorts an a yee shirt on as most men that was in there. Date Night.....me and hubbylish.. Atmosphere was semi intimate...but still family friendly and casual attire. A little on the... dark side with lighting...but menu was readable. Our waiter was attentive and humorous...and well versed. Hubby ordered theSHRIMP AND CRAB DIABLO (Molto Bene). I ordered the Two stuffed pork chop (ehh). His dinner was so flavorful...presentation wasmouthwatering. Taste....Sumptuous. My dinner wasn't so great...The boneless pork chops was almost dry...over cooked...and thesauce/gravy was salty. The mash potatoes and vegetables along side of the chops was good...after a two bites of the chops thedinner was not appealing and my hubby's dinner became mines????. Great atmosphere. Great food! My husband got the steak frite' with parmesan truffle fries, I got the tortellini and scallops.... Both entrees were delicious. The steak and scallops were both cooked perfectly. The bread was fresh and we enjoyed the sauteedgreen pepper dip too. It was a really enjoyable experience. This was my first time here and I was pretty impressed. Got a couple drinks from the bar and they were amazing. Highly recommend... their blood orange margarita. Truffle fries were out of this world as well as the wedge salad. I added some grilled chicken tothe wedge which I also recommend if you’re feeling crazy. Read more
Made reservations for 7pm Sunday. As a two top we were seated right next to the kitchen and in between three large parties.... Thankfully they were not too loud which didn’t hinder our experience. Bread was the best bread I’ve ever had and the foodwas all excellent. Fish came with a good sauce but my mom’s shrimp had literally zero seasonings. Service was definitelylacking in context of the fact I asked for our food to be wrapped by the staff but instead was given boxes. Also we got no breadto take home even though by the time we asked for it people were still getting their entrees. A lot of nearby dirty tables aswell. Our actual server Mia was very awesome and always made sure to refill my drink and quickly handled a mistake with thecheque. The bill was just under $100 but considering all the food we got it was a reasonable price. My fish was not that big andaccounted for over 1/3 of the bill. I am not rushing to come back here again but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a goodfine dining experience.
