I?ve know about Gia Nina?s for a while as my wife?s family is from south Jersey and this was one of my father in-law?s favorite... lunch spots before he passed. I went a few months ago for my second time (first time for lunch) on the way back home from ACand snagged a chicken cheese steak. Not only was the sandwich just as fantastic as advertised and a great portion, they havereasonable prices and the service is quick. I?m taking my wife again tomorrow for lunch on our way up there, if I lived closer Iwould go here every week the sandwiches are that good. Delicious foods and it really isa great atmosphere, especially if you are looking for a romantic getaway. I went Friday and... they had an artist playing music. Was a nice touch. And you know how everyone says the owner checks up on you to see if you areenjoying your evening? Yeah. She really does. I had the Crab Spiders with lemon curd (delicious and different) and SteakHoagie. Was a good sub. Hit the spot. Recommend this to everyone in NJ. It's a special place. But be warned. This is one of my favorite local Italian restaurants. They are consistent and the food is good. The one problem today was that... the soda was flat. They happily exchanged it for a bottle of soda. They have the best potato skins and garlic rolls that areunlike any other I have had. They serve them with roasted peppers. I often order pizza. The one thing I do not like is theirpepperoni. They are super small pieces and it tastes like Hormel to me. The taste is overpowering and greasy. Overall, therestaurant has a good atmosphere and they often have a musician playing. One more thing worth mentioning, you may want to beware if you have a seizure disorder?they have lights all over the restaurant that twinkle and flash. Read more
The in house dining is excellent and the food is always consistently delicious. It's an excellent place to take a visitor for... dinner or a date. The servers are very nice and the place itself has a very nice ambiance. The pizza shop it great too they havethe old world pepperoni which is a plus. The only issue is parking we have to drive around to look for a safe parking spot andtry not to get run over by traffic. Over all an excellent place. Read more
