Great food and drinks! Pricier than I like but a great experience. A friend and I went after work and loved it! We need to go... back during happy hour. The kani salad was complemented with some crunch (maybe tempora?) and lettuce, different from what I'mused to but I enjoyed it. And the spicy Thai lemongrass soup was just what I needed because I was feeling a little chilly. Ialso had the combo dinner sushi and it all tasted fresh and good. They had so many great looking options that I need to go back.Overall, great experience! Read more

I have not been to a restaurant since December 2021 but decided to get out a little last weekend. Got there around 3pm and there... was just one other group of diners, so the restaurant was quiet and very clean. Servers were super polite and quick aswell. Loved the food! The Mongolian chicken was excellent, I loved the amount of veggies included and the halibut itself wasgreat- but for me the sauce was just too sweet. If you're a chocolate lover, the chocolate cake was deliciously rich and slicewas reasonable to not be overwhelming. Overall great dining experience-definitely plan to return :) Read more

MoCA in Forest Hills has been my go to since high school but I had to check out their Woodbury location. Their dining room is... stunning with booths separated by tall bamboo dividers. Moca’s pan-Asian menu encompasses dishes from Japan, China, Korea,Thailand and Malaysia. We tried selections from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. Their VIP karaoke rooms are a plus and theLazy Susans in there added to the presentation. Moca’s hospitality was top notch. It was a cold afternoon. They offered greentea and miso soup. Their shrimp dumplings, sweet teriyaki salmon and the pad Thai were my favorite! It was my first time tryingSashimi and it was a very unique taste. Of course I had to try it at Moca. I enjoyed the sushi and Nutella bomb dessert whichwas chef recommended! Read more

High end Asian Fusion.....that comes with a price tag. This is a beautiful space with delicious food and a beautiful... ambiance. This place had great cocktails and food. In addition, there was wonderful live music tonight by the very talentedLydia von Hof. There were lots of choices on the menu. Maybe too many covering Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean andThai.....I really enjoyed my Sashimi and Short Ribs. In addition, my family loved the Pad Thai, Seasame Chicken, AvocadoSalad, Chicken Dumplings and Roasted Peppers. Our waiter Jason was patient and provided nice recommendations. We willdefinitely come back! Read more

July 2021. The outside of the restaurant looks boring and drab, so much so that our party accidently tried to get into the... neighboring cryotherapy store. The interior of the restaurant is furnished nicely with fake trees, colored lights, chandeliers, and plenty of art on the wall. Although we came for dinner, I noticed there is a bar with a TV that people were enjoying. Dinner tables were large which I particularly appreciate. Prices were expensive for my preference, with appetizers in the$10-20 range, and entrees in the $25-40 range. This is an Asian fusion restaurant. I'm not sure what that means, but the menuwas big and had a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods, with some emphasis on sushi. Our group ordered several appetizersincluding the sushi pizza, Volcano roll, and Oyster Bay roll, all of which were good. My main course was the MoCA sushi dinner, which was a mix of sushi and sashimi. I would have liked some free bread, but I guess they don't do that here. There was quitea few flies inside the restaurant (drain flies? fruit flies?) which were attracted to our food. It wasn't a proper swarm offlies, but there was enough to draw my attention and wave them away as necessary. Read more
