SHORT VERSION: Very pricy, unremarkable food. However, it does have a stylish interior and good service. LONG VERSION: The food... was passable, but the prices were shockingly high. I looked at what must have been a very outdated online menu, and called therestaurant to order for pickup. A bowl of chili was $7.95, an order of four tamales (no sides) was $11.00, and the fajitas were$16.95. The total: $38.00. Their "Hector's chili" is decently flavorful and hearty, but unremarkable. The tamales were prettygood. The fajitas were skimpy with the meat (steak). Unfortunately, not worth the price at all. However, on the positive side, the interior was surprisingly cozy and visually pleasing. Based on looks alone, it would be a good spot for a romantic date. Thefood was at least prepared quickly, and the staff member who handled my order was professional and provided good service. Thisis the first time I have ever given a business a negative review. Overall, with the abundance of dining options Downriver isblessed with, I would skip Amigo's Woodhaven and try somewhere else. Read more

Small place with a big heart. Great service, great food, and good prices. Enjoy going to this diner.

Limited menu and location can not handle big crowd. Good for couples and groups of 4. Consistent quality, good carry out.

Food is always great and the way I order it. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is older a little drab and dark.

The staff was friendly. The food was okay, i can't say it's the best but it was average (comparable to other maybe non-authentic... restaurants). The waiter brought the steak chiminchanga, however we asked for beef. The nachos were okay too. I also want topoint out that the servings were large and filling. I did enjoy the rice and refried beans. I also liked the ambient of the restaurant. I may return for a quick bite another time. Read more

If I could give zero stars I would! This used to be our favorite local Mexican restaurant until recently! Last 2 orders have... been messed up and staff is rude when you let them know! Most recent order was supposed to be chicken quesadilla but instead wasjust filled with over-microwaved cheese! Mr. Miguel?s is much better! Read more

Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. A lot of reviews raved about the wet burrito which is what I ordered. I... found it to be large but flavorless. They're chips are worse than most I get out of a bag, and their salsa, if that's what youcall it is more like a taco sauce, very thin and heavy on cumin. The soap in the men's bathroom was watered down horribly. Theonly thing that was good about Amigo's was the service, Angeles was awesome. I would not recommend to anyone who likes Mexicanfood, you're better off at Camino Real. Read more
