Dined here for our wedding anniversary. From even before we arrived, the staff went out of their way to accommodate a sudden... reservation change. The restaurant itself is both beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed the food, which a lot of the ingredientswere sourced from their own garden (which I think is shared with the Herb Farm??) but our favorite part of the night was ourserver CT. He turned the night from a nice dinner into a unique experience! He mentioned that staffing was a little short thatnight so food may take a little longer to get served but we may not have noticed otherwise since everyone was so attentive. Thedrinks were fabulous and the dishes getting served at a slower pace really helped us settle into a more casual, relaxedatmosphere. It was a very nice looking place. It said fine dining so we thought we had to look our best. Not the case. We were over dressed.... Way over dressed. We ordered our food and it took awhile because they were short staffed. We went at brunch so we could onlyorder breakfast and lunch. All in all I would say not worth it. Father's day dinner was amazing! We had the mussels and clams for starters and it came with a piece of bread with a really good... spread. The broth was so flavorful and both mussels and clams were so tender. My husband had the Yellow Fin Ahi which wasnicely seared and he loved it. I had the special of the evening which was the Swordfish and it was thick and perfectly cooked.Very satisfying dinner! Read more
Fantastic dining experiences from the location, ambiance, service and food. Everything was perfect. We even had great... interactions with customers on the next table! We had steak for two (with Moral mushrooms right now) and would definitelyrecommend it, but skip the lunch that day. Read more
Recently went to Barking Frog for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. All of the food was fantastic! I ordered the beef... tartare (first time ever trying) and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to have it again in the future. I ordered the duck entree.The duck was cooked perfectly. I will say, I was expecting something more for the "root vegetables". It appeared to be a side ofcauliflower rice and three pieces of turnips. I also ordered a side of ravioli. 100% would pay $28 again for a side of thatravioli, it was incredible! Went here for a birthday. Staff were all super friendly, and the ambience of the place was nice and cozy. We waited awfully long... to get our food, and by the time we got it it was cold, felt like the plate was warmed up but the food itself was cold. Verypretty presentations of the food and lots of complex flavors, but the waiting periods really turned us off. We waited 40 minutesfor the entrees, and after ordering dessert, we waited an additional 20 minutes to receive it. It would’ve been understandableif it was a weekend night, but we came on a Monday night when it wasn’t super packed. The waitress was kind enough to give usthe dessert for free as a birthday treat.
