Was picking up my order that I placed online. Books were ready on time. Professional customer service.

This is my hangout place. I'm here all the time. Atmosphere is great, the staff is always so helpful and have always known how... to help me find what I'm looking for. The cafe is good too, nice quiet place to sit unlike other B&N in the area. Sometimes thestaff at the cafe can be a little cold but they make good drinks so its okay. The only thing I can criticize is that prettyregularly, I have no luck looking for a popular title that should be on the shelf (less than a year since release, not obscure). Read more

I would like to make a comment on the horrible customer experience I received today. I was followed around during my entire trip... there. Even while sitting at the Starbucks cafe I was being hovered over by the staff. I've been shopping there for over sixyears and have been a member for going on 4 and the absolute disrespect I received today makes me rethink my membership. I readsome reviews online after and one stated how she was also followed around her entire trip and was even questioned while there.Being treated as a thief or someone who was there just to steal is not why I want to go to a store. But this is clearly aproblem not being addressed at this store. Read more

I just had a very similar experience as the last reviewer. I walked into the store this morning to use the restroom before an... appointment next door and when I entered I was immediately "greeted" by two female employees. One of them asked me if I had setoff the door alarm/chime, which to my knowledge I had not. I used the restroom, and on my way out noticed that they had apretty decent selection of toys. After my appointment I returned to the store to check out the toy selection for my two boys.Once again I was immediately met by the same two employees, this time one of them mentioned to the other that I'd been inearlier and that they needed to "see what I was up to." I walked back to the toy section and was followed down each isle by oneof the employees. She was very poorly pretending to clean up the area, and asked if I needed any assistance multiple times. Iaccidentally knocked something small off a shelf and she was at my side in a second. I was finally fed up with it and walkedout, despite wanting to purchase some solar system toys for my youngest. As much as I hate to say it, employees like her are theone of the reasons I shop on Amazon. Read more

Barnes and Noble is an excellent book store. Not only do they have a large variety of books, they also sell good quality... notepads and educational toys, small chocolates, etc. It's easy to find a gift for someone here. Books can be ordered online forpick-up. If they don't have something in stock, they can usually order it for you. Usually there's someone around to helpcustomers find a book, if needed. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful. For a small fee each year you can join theirRewards Club and get a discount on everything you buy there. Read more
