I ordered a 2 entree dinner with beans and rice. I chose 1 cheese enchilada and 1 Chile Rellino which were both well prepared... and tasted great. I did prefer the cheese enchilada. Additionally you can substitute the rice and beans for a salad if you wouldprefer. I would come back to try something else. Seems like they do have a decent variety of vegetarian options! Honestly I love their food and have been a customer for over 20 years, so this review has nothing to do with that. 12 days ago... I ordered pick up (2 chicken tacos combo) and when I arrived home and took a bite, I found out they were beef. I don't eat beef.I called about explained this and they told me to come back, but I live too far (picked it up on the way home from work), so Iasked if I could get a credit for the next time. She said yes and took down my name but said that they have a policy that youhave to come back in two weeks. That's ridiculous, and I thought about saying so, but it's not this worker's fault the companyhas this (possibly illegal but definitely unethical) policy. So yeah, 12 days later (which is less than two weeks), I call backand tell the woman who answered about what happened, she puts me on hold and then comes back to say it must be past 2 weeksbecause there's no record of it. I tell her it's been 12 days. She said no, it probably wasn't. I said it was and I have therecord of the last time I called on my phone. She said no, she can't do anything because it's been more than 2 weeks. Listen, Idon't know if she was the manager or a worker or whoever. It's not her policy. I get that. So my issue is with the companyJaramillo Enterprises (I actually know this because my first job ever was as Sierra's when I was a teen), who apparently thinkit's okay to have a policy that essentially steals money from their customers. I couldn't eat those tacos that night. There wasno one to give them to because no one in my house eats beef. They went in the trash and I ate beans and rice for dinner. To puta time limit on when you make it right with a customer is not okay. It's hard out here for most people, and to just expect thattheir hard earned money expires in 2 weeks when it was the restaurant's fault is money grubbing and unethical. Read more
This is a fast food restaurant that thinks it's upscale. Our food was served hot on ceramic plates, and there was plenty of it.... We took home leftovers for another lunch during the week. We both got chili relleños, which were very good. Mission Burrito isnot close to us, but we will definitely go back. Read more
Their food is good but sometimes its made without pride or its a new cook. I ordered a Carne asada burrito dinner and there was... a few pieces of shredded meat and filled with refried beans mostly..mind you that I lived the area and was looking forward to itas I traveled back from Wisconsin and was really disappointed with my meal to the point thar I left more than half and tossedit. Ok, so if you like Chipotle and think it's Mexican food, then make the effort to try Mission Burrito. I'm not gonna say it's the... best I've tried, but I did like what I ordered. A simple Mexican Bowl with steak will go a long way. Good seasoning on the meat.And with the portion they served, you can actually make 2 full burritos and still have plenty left to enjoy. Check the menu andI'm sure you will find something worth your money. This was my 1st time here but I can say that for a fast food type place onthe go, you won't be disappointed.
