Unhygienic. Watched them take payment touch numerous surfaces then put their hands directly in the cheese without gloves or... washing. Mentioned it to them in real time and not a word or apology. We ordered two pizzas and both were very good. They were cooked just right, not burnt or under cooked. The crust was not too... thin or thick. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh and of good quality. The only negative was I would have liked a littlemore sauce on mine but I tend to like mine a bit less dry. I find it unacceptable going for dine in and waiting almost 2 hours for a pizza. We arrived at 6:15 pm and left at 8pm. We... didn't even dine in, it was only when I asked for a refund that I got my order. I had to take it to go because we were ready toget out of there so we didn't waste the rest of our night. Honestly, the pizza was barely better than the stuff you could get inthe freezer aisle and I'm not just saying that because of my sour experience. We've been living here for 7 years so we know this place is weak but sometimes u just want pizza and the only alternative is... Domino's so AJ's is the lesser of 2 evils. Tonight I ordered a Garden Pizza but swapped the green peppers 4 jalapeno(extracharge). Didn't have mushrooms on it supposedly should according to the menu(not charged less). That 's it....my order. Took 2 hours. Called got hung up on and got to reheat my pizza for $30. Can't wait till they have their new building built andthis is all we have other than Domino's...yay... Read more

We have been coming here for a couple of years and I can honestly say, I?m so disappointed with this last visit. It was my... birthday yesterday and we planned on going for the most amazing wonderful garlic knots that we have ever had. So we drove fromLarkspur to Woodland Park to get them with an order to go. When we got home, we got this (picture). Now, I don?t mind them beinga little over done, but this is just plain burnt. It absolutely changes the flavor and doesn?t even look appealing to eat sothat was a waste of money. We did get a couple in a different order that were a little burnt on the top which was fine, but whywould you even serve this to someone? update: 3/25/22 still one of my favorite places to go and one of the best places hands down in teller county . the main reason I... took one star away is inconsistency. if you refer to the pictures I got the bread that when ordered was the cheesy garlic bread.as you see on 3/2/22 it came as amazing yummy goodness. they look like dinner rolls but they are full of cheese and covered ingarlic butter best i ever had here. now if you look at the picture from this time its more like cheese sticks. big differencebetween day crew and night crew. night crew on the 2nd of march definitely takes the win. day crew on the 25th of marchunfortunately you lost a star for this 5 star establishment. other than that the pizza was amazing as always. the wings wereeven spicier than last time. which again I like that yall add spice to the garlic parmesan wings but I don't like that one timeits amazing and then this time its too spicy. there's a proper ratio and it wasn't there on this day shift. just another reasonfor the lose of a star and the review I'm giving. update: 3/2/22 I'm still new to taking pics and tend to forget before diggingin so excuse the fact that some knots, wings and a slice of pizza is gone. We ordered take out on a Friday night, and it was busy but not terribly so. Wait time for the order pictured below was 25-30... minutes. The order was picked up slightly late, but even considering that the food was luke-warm at best. The biggest factor inthe 2 star review was the terrible garlic bread. It was quite burnt, as well as under-seasoned. The meatball pizza was good, thepasta wasn't bad, and the cinnamon knots were pretty good.
