My family and I love the food from this place. I live 40 minutes away and go here just for the lomo. The food is delicious... Peruvian cuisine. Every time I go, the food never disappoints. Unfortunately, customer service can definitely use some workthough. Rude over the phone. Rude when I’m trying to pay. Young gentleman behind the counter shouting “yo” and “yer”to the customers for payment. Very unprofessional. The food makes up for the terrible customer service. Read more
I was looking for a spot for lunch and stumbled across this place. I called in my order of the lomo saltado and tallarin saltado... both with shrimp. When I arrived I told the lady my name and she said it was almost done. The restaurant was super cute. Noindoor seating but they had benches outside. After a while the food was ready and I paid and left. When I got in I ate and thefood was very good. The shrimp was seasoned well and they gave a good amount. The rice and fries was also good. I have been to this place soo many times and usually the food is great. This time though... very dry and the rice isn't good... ???? I don't know what happen but it looks like the fries weren't even made with the steak! It's a pile of fries with a fewpieces of steak thrown on top.. Even the green sauce didn't help. I really enjoyed their lomo. It was better then some proper Peruvian restaurants. They appear to have a variety of other items... which I have yet to try. There is outdoor seating. Read more
I have been to this establishment only once, the food is usually very good. I had been having it door dashed, and told my... coworkers about the place. One particular time I ordered my usual dish, and the steak was black, crunchy and burnt badly. I waspretty upset, because food isn't cheap these days, and this dish in particular was expensive. So I called asking to speak to amanager. A woman answered, and asked if I could send a picture of my meal. I did. She immediately saw how badly it was prepared,and offered me a complimentary meal for next time. I accepted. Next morning I'm at work, and look at my phone and see a missedcall. It was the lomo truck. I called, and a man answered claiming to.be the owner. He told he was glad I brought this to hisattention, but was unable to honor a complementary meal. To say the least, I was taken back, that a business owner had the gallto call and take back a complimentary meal for something they messed up. Needless to say, ill never eat there again. Update! Theowner called me back 5min after I posted this, to try to tell me I misunderstood him. You can't make things like this up! Read more
So glad to see this business growing and expanding without compromising their food quality. Been going to their Paterson... location for years . Great food made with passion . Lomo truck woodland park came to the store and the lady in the front was not so friendly. I asked if I can order there or will I... need to call to make the order? She looked at me and didn’t answer. Thankfully one of the men in the back was kind enough totake my order and answer my questions. It was my first time at that location. The food took about 30 minutes to be ready. Read more
