Our server, Adam, was new. Great job Adam! Great service. Great food. I had a wedge salad with a vodka rocks, blue cheese... olives, a little dirty - great starter. The Drink was perfectly made. Crab Cakes with smashed potatoes for dinner. Cookedperfectly, nice and hot, fast out of the kitchen. My wife had the Trout. Again, cooked perfectly. Oysters are cultivated and have a delicate taste,crab cakes were tasty but they had no lumps at all,nice corn sauce with them. ... Mahi mahi with miso was very good. Pleasant waitress(Lisa), ambiance good. Would go again. Read more
DON'T EAT HERE!!!! I was treated to dinner at this Mitchell's Fish Market yesterday (28601 Chagrin Blvd, Woodmere, OH 44122) but... it was NO TREAT. No one was at the hostess station when we walked in, I had to ask the bartender about seating. That shouldhave been a warning to me. The floor at a nearby booth stayed filthy with food for the first 30 minutes. UNDERSTAFFED??? Weordered the calamari appetizer which was extremely salty and overcooked. When we sent it back for a redo it came back with NOseasoning at all. The Market Trio had smallish portions of fish and the salmon, shrimp and crab cake were all OVERCOOKED andINEDIBLE. The New Orleans Shrimp Pasta was severely over priced for the extremely small portion and shrimp was OVERCOOKED. Thewedge salad was the only thing I could finish, again... waaay over priced for the basic ingredients that looked like they werefrom SaveALot or Aldi. (sorry Aldi!). Couldn't find any seafood in the seafood gumbo. The only bright spot was that we had anice server. On the way out we noticed there was only crushed ice in the fish bin and NO FISH. And we were there right afterlunch service ended so it was early. I suspect they were serving frozen food. SO DISAPPOINTING and over priced LOW QUALITY. Read more
I was here many years ago and enjoyed it, but the food has really gone downhill. $42 for two lobster tails that were over... cooked, incredibly tiny, and had pieces of smashed shell everywhere. 3 spears of asparagus and a couple of wedges of potato.Yeah…I’m done. Read more
This is The first time last time that I am ordering from this place. Either the cook was not happy working at that place, or... this is really a very very trashy restaurant. 50% of the food is crumbles from the fish batter mixed up with soggy french fries.As you can see on the pictures this is not edible. The fish batter is way thicker than the fish itself. It’s just so gross. Iwasted over $25 and I dumped it in the trash because it was too gross to eat. I should’ve read more of the reviews. A fair experience, overall. :) Our waitress was a bit spacy st times but very caring. My food was very good and I would return... to order again. Loved the bread they served at the table ahead of time and the spinach artichoke dip was damn good, too. I hadthe SHIITAKE NOODLE BOWL. Noodles were just right. Could have used more vegetables, as I didn't add protein, but what I did havewas pleasant and I don't have any complaints. Taste was great and ur was hot when served. ???????? Read more
Had reservations for 3 and requested outdoors seating which was not given initially but honored on second request(it was 4... tables available on our arrival outside) Our food arrived perfectly-fast, fresh and hot. Then our waitress seemed to forgetabout us outside in the sun.No water refills,bread,etc..I'll still come back.The food was really good. Took my gf and mom to ????????????????????????????????'???? ???????????????? ????????????????????????, a restaurant I would... frequently visit many years ago. Service was standard. But the quality and taste of the food has plummeted.
